If he comes in and is 75% of the player he was at Leeds then it's a brilliant signing. 
If we had money to spend I would be questioning why we didn't get Adam Wharton from Blackburn who will probably go the euros.

Yeah but he's had extenuating circumstances and a couple of bad injuries. I'd still have him on a year's contract if he takes a big pay cut.

Some of the stories doing the rounds today are a disgrace. 
I heard Natalie Sawyer on TalkSPORT say that every single player is for sale as we need to get as much money in as possible. Where does this crap come from? 

Seems there’s some noise around Weston McKennie (almost every year we are linked to him as well), good thing is we appear to be looking for midfield players.
I just hope we get our players in early this window but that is always overly optimistic.

777 have got no chance. Far too many conditions to reach for them.  All the news about business going under etc says to me that the EPL have done us a huge favour - intentionally or not.

The Arsenal game clearly showed what a liability he is to the team when on the pitch, he made 2 long square passes across our back line in that game the first one was cut out and he was lucky they didn’t score from that, yet he didn’t learn from that mistake he repeated the same ball and they scored from it, costing us a point and money for finishing higher up the league. 
I think most people don’t rate him because he simply isn’t good enough and he has cost us points throughout the season because of his poor decision making, the Arsenal game just being an example of many. 
So for me he’s no asset because of his cost or experience, in fact experience teaches you to stop making stupid mistakes, but it doesn’t seem to have had that effect on him, he’s definitely more hindrance than an asset in my opinion and his lack of knowledge, understanding, for someone with so much experience for out way any positives even monetary value.  

Remember that we’ll probably need someone to go in June for the books.

I would not be thrilled if we went and signed 30+ year olds to 5 year deals (depending on the player though).

To lose either now to be honest. The ownership really needs sorting so we can reject offers and just take the points penalty if that's how the PL want to deal with it. DCL is worth 2-3 league positions, Branthwaite same with the potential to be much more important.

I'm not saying I want to see him go mate or that he isn't good enough for us. Doesn't matter what we offer if he wants to move we have to sell him & get as much as possible. 25 million would be sickening given what was being touted a few years ago. The only promising thing from that (if true based off Moshiri’s word) is that there are other parties interested but we obviously can’t engage until May 31.
