Think it was a very very good friendly for us against a Swindon team that tried to play good tidy football and made us work.
2 young boys at the back Galloway and Browning huge positive, Browning is our new Distin - rapid as.
Gerry was sharp, will only get sharper.
2nd half we dominated - Conner McAleny was hugely impressive, Cleverley was tidy. Kev played well as well as Rom.
Only negative was Besic pulling up short.

Would love it if he could push his way into the fold this season - it's easy to write a youngster off at 20 if he's not got in and around the 1st team but players like Osman and Ryan Mason show that not all players are ready at 18-21.

I think Trippier would have been the ready made replacement, 20 mil for Coleman and the 5 mill or what ever Trippier went for is good business for any club. However I wouldn't let him go now because as Patto said there isn't anyone to replace him currently.

Yeah exactly right Mike, i mean im fortunate and extremely grateful to have a decent enough job i can get away and enjoy these kinds of places. I think most places tend to equal it our with wage and cost of living ect ect.
 
Your Gambia trip sounds similar to when i went to Fiji and i got one of the blokes at the resort to take me to his village and show me around, all it cost me was to buy some food ( got like 4 chickens, full parrot fish, full coral trout, 3 lobsters and some local casava and vegies ) for his family to eat and it was unreal, cooked it under ground and it was awesome Then when i left i had maybe 30 quod of fijian dollars which was no good to me so i gave it to him and he couldnt believe it!
