Isaiah reacted to Romey 1878 in M'Baye Niang
This is what he did last time isn't it and then chose AC?
Tell him to stick his time up his arse. He's done shit wherever he's been, he needs us more than we need him.

I can see this being another year where nobody actually comes in for him. The two French teams (often cited as candidates) are over-loaded with amazing young striking talent of their own these days, which leaves only Chelsea who can pay a 60-70 million fee, and I can't help thinking that if Conte wanted him, he'd have come after him by now, especially given how Chelsea's rivals have started getting their business done already. Plus I'm not sure Lukaku is the kind of big fan-pleasing striker signing Abramovich favours, I can see him pushing for someone like Morata or Icardi (Conte rumoured to be a fan) or one of those young French kids, Mbappe or Dembele.
Long story short, I'm expecting a new contract signed in late August and declarations of love for Everton and the fans.

+1 to this. When there's an exceptional goalkeeping prospect available, you get him. People on other boards are saying "Butland is better" (I disagree), but he's at a Premier League club and he isn't for sale. Others are saying "City got that amazing keeper who nobody had heard of until a week ago but he has a cool-sounding foreign name so must be amazing". With keepers from other leagues (especially Portugal, a low level) you're taking a big risk.
I'm really happy with this. One position taken care of hopefully for the next 10 years. Plus, we have an English defense, and hopefully will for some time to come given the talent in it, so that'll help with communication.

Isaiah reacted to Newty82 in Ross Barkley
Koeman just answers the press guys questions in his usual fashion. With bluntness and honesty. Unfortunately, the upset here is that the focus of attention is our little diamond.
I'm not reading too much into it other than Barkley doesn't know if he wants to stay and Koeman wants to know so that he can plan for next season.
That makes sense from both parties. And both are entitled to do what they are doing.
It's just a typical football situation. Heightened by the journalists obsession with Barkley. Makes headlines, doesn't it?
These guys are on the training pitch every day together. I'm sure it is all on a very professional, amicable level.

"I have heard some really derisory sort of figures getting mentioned, and it wouldn't be any of those figures, I can tell you that."
Pot. Kettle. He wouldn't stand in the way of the boy furthering his career surely ?

He's off at the end of the season, I think Koeman's just letting him say goodbye.

I echo the thoughts that Koeman doesn't seem to want him.
I think Koeman has been quite open and simple about Barkley since day 1. And I feel that Barkley maybe isn't delivering what Koeman wants him to deliver. He's maybe frustrated that he has 'it' but can't quite seem to get to the level to deliver 'it'.
I'm still seeing the same negative things from Barkley that we've been seeing for the last 3 or 4 years. The progress hasn't been as much as we would like. To the point where I wouldn't be all that bothered if he left. I don't think he's at the level we are trying to get to.

Isaiah reacted to Paddock in Ronald Koeman
He twice as good as Martinez and transformed the dross and shite he saddled us with. Lets take a quick look at what he's done in less than a full season:-
Finished 4 places higher than the last 2 seasons
Got European football back
We've not been able to catch the top 6 but he's kept us in contention and we're streets ahead of the teams below us
Had the bollocks to drop players and brought some honesty back to us rather than the absolute bollocks Martinez spouted
Played and blooded a lot of youth
Tom Davies
Schneiderlin
Gana
Managed to get rid of the utter turd Martinez saddled us with namely Cleverley, Niasse Mcgeady
Ridded us of deadwood such as Gibson, Oviedo and Kone wont be here after we kick the last ball of the season.
Turned our worst home record EVER into just 2 home losses so far this season.
That's without even thinking aboutit.
But you have doubts.

Coleman is already back with the club and doing whatever fitness training he can. He will work his way back to his old self, I think. I can't imagine this being the nail in the coffin for him.

If we get 12, minimum 10 points we might have a sniff; but if you'd have offered me 7th and Europa qualification at the start of the season I'd have happily taken it

Other than sentimentality, I can't think why we would ever accept Rooney back. I'll be annoyed if we do. He will never be our main striker, and we have other options for the bench. We're supposed to be a rich club now, so whatever marketability potential he still has shouldn't factor into it either. If United offer 60 mill plus Rooney I'd tell them to piss off. I read their forum, Redcafe, they want his absurd wages off their books more than anyone else's. He's costing them a million a month to do fuck all. We're supposed to be happy they throw him into a deal for one of the most exciting and consistently prolific young strikers in world football? Sod that. Dumping him on us in lieu of more transfer fee for Lukaku would be taking the piss.
United spent 90 mill on Pogba. They have cash. They don't have top class strikers. If they want Lukaku they can pay 90 mill. That's my armchair appraisal of the situation.

Well, our manager seems to think Rom is more than just a goalscorer and is improving all the time. That'll do me.

On the eve of Hillsborough too. Trashing not only Ross but the entire city of Liverpool. I can't believe Kelvin MacKenzie didn't have an agenda here. Such an attention-seeking vile c*nt.

Pending a medical assessment, ToffeeTalk will become Ket Talk.

Just think any player who puts on our shirt, represents our club should be shown a certain level of respect when something bad happens.

A good example of how someone who isn't actually that good can get a contract with a PL club as well.

Isaiah reacted to Lowensda in Jose Baxter
Aha. Fuck off. It's not like he's been injured and not playing, so they're offering to train him. He's been done for drugs (3 times if memory serves me right?).
He's a red and couldn't wait to tell everyone once he left Everton.
He got paid handsomely and it ended back up his nose.
No ta. Sentiments should be considered for bellends.

The idea of Tony Pulis working with Carvalho.
"Right lad, welcome to West Brom. Now then, we've paid a lot of money for you kiddo, so we want to see all your talents. When you get the ball, fuckin' hoof it. Ok? Hoof, hoof, it means belt it. Whack it. Fucking hell, can we get a translator over here please, someone? New lad doesn't know what hoof means...."
