Isaiah reacted to Romey 1878 in Sean Dyche
Without the drama of the points deductions he'd served up the exact season I was hoping for in the summer - a boring, mid-table, nothingness of a season.

If you score a hole-in-one albatross on a 400-yard par 4 dog-leg tomorrow, the story you will tell 20 years from now will still be how you missed the famous 2024 Goodison derby.

Enjoy that one lads!
I’ve got to add, today is the 8 year anniversary of my mother’s passing & I’m just a ball of emotion right now. It’s always a bitter sweet day but for the lads to pull of that win is just incredible.
I can’t even describe how I feel but this club just means so much.

That's what makes it so, so satisfying that it led to a goal

SD week by week is getting us away from the bottom, and looking like a team again.

First time since 2020-21 season that Toffees have won consecutive PL away matches.

2 feet or 2 inches it’s a goal and he’s needed one after the way he’s played the last 2-3 games, hopefully it’s the first of many.

I can't quite understand the Dyche negativity. We just went away from home to a team who won a European trophy last season, and came away with a deserved and not a 'nicked' three points. We also had other very good chances and maybe unlucky only to come away 0-1. A deserved clean sheet, and the West ham fans booed their team off at the end as we out battled them for pretty much the whole game.
when the highlights are on MotD tonight, it will be pretty much all Everton, with the pundits giving us the plaudits and the Hammers the hard time.
off the back of two seasons of being deserved beated game in game out, with next to no transfer budgeted spent, we are actually being competative in games, and are really unlucky not to be 6-9 points further up the table.
this is massive progress on the team of the past to seasons.

Finally got the result a lot of our performances have deserved. This was not a flash in the pan performance. The Fulham, Wolves or Luton game could have quite easily have been an early goal from being 3-0 wins. At the end of this games, almost disappointed it was not more than 3.
We ARE a significantly better team under Dyche that we where under Lampard or Benitez.
We are still a long way off from where a Everton team/squas should be, but we are better that we have been in the recent past.

Isaiah reacted to Shukes in Dele
I only spoke last night about sleeping tablets to Anna.
Im reflecting myself now and looking at other ways to combat sleepless nights.
If someone in a position like that can admit to it, then I have to start taking responsibility for myself and realise that anxiety is a massive thing. I sit there watching tv with my hand on my throat as it always feels like I’m being strangled or that something is tightening my throat. Yet I’m wearing no top.
I lie in bed and once I have bit onto a thought I can’t let it go and won’t sleep. I have to go down stairs and turn on the tv. Then I usually find myself nodding off just before my 6 o’clock alarm goes off.
Why? This guy has been through hell and back. Had things happen in his life that no one should go through.
I’ve got fantastic kids, a life long friend and partner in Anna who is my life. Don’t have much money, but enough to have a decent home and lifestyle. I have my own company, nothing special, but it’s mine.
Im inspired by the way Deli has came out and spoken. I’m humbled, I’m upset, I’m willing with every bone in my body that he turns it around. Think I’m also in shock a bit if that makes any sense.
You know what, I’m 50 on Monday….. and I’m gonna have the day off. Fuck it. I’m gonna have the day off and take Anna for a nice lunch time meal.
Sorry for ranting guys, that’s just hit me a little harder than I could have ever expected.

The utmost respect for him. That is a huge, huge step & what he has gone through to sit there and just talk about it - I want him to succeed so much now because he very much deserves it!
More importantly I hope he just finds happiness.
Dele after that interview will have the backing of everyone of the fans because they will respect him and will protect him.

Agree with all of that, which is why I also stayed until the end and applauded the players off the pitch. There was definitely no lack of effort today, just a gulf in class
