John, we'll have to find a way to get together again. I shall be passing through Heathrow this coming week and again two weeks later. Do you still live in the same area?

I think you will find I said the same thing, that Moshiri not only had interfered with the signing of players he also chose the managers against the opinions of his DoF. For me this team is Moshiri’s team not just in ownership in everything we see, it’s the play thing of Moshiri and Usmanov to have some fun and try to make a successful team where they made all the decisions, what they have proved is that money doesn’t buy you success when you haven’t got a clue what you’re doing.

What we needed was a manager given a realistic amount of time, and Moshiri to stop interfering on signings.

Was that the refs angle because he never saw the extended push in the back. It was a stonewall penalty mate your see that when you get a chance to see replays from different angles, but nothing we say or do now is going to change the result, so we can look forward to turning Chelsea over Sunday.

Moshiri sacked Martinez to get a “big name” in. He is responsible for Koeman and Walsh spending an absurd amount of money on absolute trash.
I liked Marco Silva but again we were weak and sold him when at this point we needed to double down on our players and the weak culture at the club.
Then Rafa - disgraceful, disgraceful decision. I supported him best I could but we should have never done it.
Season by season we’ve lost a little bit more of what I means to be an Everton player until we’ve capitulated to this mess. ( I believe Lampard can bring that back… eventually )

This is what I’ve been saying to everyone and it’s not been highlighted anywhere. Sky Sport conveniently ignore this in the Ref watch. AG even mentioned this in his post match interview. The stand on the foot is for me the bigger foul but the fact he pushes at the same time is why this is as clearer pen as you’ll see. Dermot then goes on to say I’ve seen them given and also not given and he would fall down on the side of no penalty! 😂 I don’t want to sound like a raving conspiracy theorist but the decisions we get there have been and continue to be ludicrous.

Exactly they should be focusing on the incident in front of them with an open mind, and not harbouring any preconceptions based on anything from the past.

Why waste money on Max Aarons when we already have our right back in Patterson?

Regardless, referees are supposed to judge on individual merit.
Salah had a huge reputation for diving and rightly so…. Didn’t stop refs giving pens to him

I usually like him but just from the snippets I've seen I've decided it'll just make my blood boil if I read it.
Did he, and others, just expect us to go there and get our tummy's rubbed and take a heavy beating?! They've just dismantled Man City ffs. Their players are on a completely different planet to ours, both in confidence and ability.
Like I mentioned before the game; we were risking a pasting no matter what we did. Sitting in and playing like we did was dangerous, but for an hour the tactics worked and if the officials actually do their jobs well and had we taken the few opportunities that fell our way then it's job done and we have something to defend.
For me, Lampard got the tactics right. He was rightly criticised for not being pragmatic in other away games since he arrived, like the Spurs game, and now he does and he's getting stick for that as well.

The tactics were right, the same tactics Rafa played defend and counter attack, it’s not a tactic any manager really wants to play it’s a tactic used when a team hasn’t got the elements in the squad to play free flowing attacking football and still be capable of defending. Our lack of being unable to put a natural finisher in the team because we don’t possess one is killing us. We are where we are because of the signing of mediocre to poor players with no thought of how they fit into a vision of what or how we want the team to play. The frustration from us at what we are seeing is manifesting it’s self into anger because of the position we find ourselves in, it is sad that we have come to the position that we highlight reffing decisions as the reason we lost or are going down, when the reality is we are here because we aren’t good enough because of years of poor acquisitions. The Liverpool game for me cemented the feeling for me that it’s not over yet, we are not going to play a team anywhere near their ability away from home on this run in, and if we can play like that against the lesser teams away we will win and draw a couple without doubt.

Another performance by the officials has me far more concerned than anything our players did today. It was another in a long line of horrendous showings from them.
We should have had a penalty for sure. I can understand the ref on the pitch not giving the decision but how the fuck is VAR not sorting that out? Matip stood on Gordon's foot ffs and the cameras caught it. This is what VAR is for!
TAA pushes Gordon when he's going to race past him straight in on goal. Nothing given but probably could have seen red for being last man. That's on the ref and was fucking blatant as well.
Mane should have been sent off for not once, but twice, putting his hand into one of our players' faces.
Richarlison should have been sent off for kicking out at Henderson as well.
The standard of officiating in this league is absolutely shite. The only way it'll change is if they are actually held accountable for their fuck ups. I'm all for respecting the officials but it's a two way street and they show none.

I thought I made that very clear in my first post you responded to do I need to repeat myself, DCL isn’t doing what he’s doing as interest like playing golf, tennis, collecting stamps, or buying antiques ect, he is forging a career in my opinion when he should be solely concentrating on the one he has here, and if he did that who knows he maybe better than he currently is.
