  1. At least someone spotted the deliberate mistake !
  2. I just don't understand it really, if you pay to watch and support the team why leave early (maybe I'm just a masochist!) Sunday was th classic example, at least 6 people squeezed out past me after the 2nd Watford goal went in, if we had done that, we would have been thrashed, but a combination of the team getting stuck in and then the crown really getting behind them we got the result which could be the vital kick start we need.
  3. Thought he was excellent on Sunday, put some good hard tackles in at the start of the game on Richarlison, who was Watfords danger man, and a few decent crosses, really pleased for him after the swinging foot last weekend that went in for Leicester, he could have let his head drop but clearly hasn't. Probably the MOM in the first half.
  4. No, would seriously have to consider renewing my season ticket if he comes here, he's toxic
  5. I'd much rather we aim high for someone like Simione than trawl the depths of dross with fat Sam, hopefully it does show that all the crap about Sam being in the picture is all sky talk and rubbish.
  6. No no no no no and no to Allardyce, it's shows absolutely no desire to improve, it's got to be cheap journo crap.
  7. Agree with all of the above post Steve, particularly the last para
  8. Not me and I don't want him, it doesn't show enough ambition for the club.
  9. This for me, he will steady the ship but I don't think he is the man to take us forward. I would be happy with Unsworth and a good mentor to guide him at this level were aiming for, for a season or two, then he takes over fully.
  10. Spot on Shukes, they need to get used to playing together and hopefully some confidence.
  11. Romey, I get what your saying but yesterday seemed an all time low to me
  12. We were poor yesterday, the set up first half looked positive, something we've all been wanting - some width, but we were rippped apart by Vardy and Grays pace, at 2-0 we were always going to struggle. The team has lost all confidence, and look like a rabbit in the head lights at times. I lost count on the number of times 2 or even 3 players went for the same ball and failed to even win it, it was like watching pinball. The first goal came about because Baines failed to beat the first man with the free kick, which put us on the back foot, the same happened with his corners also, that never used to happen, another sign of loss of confidence? Should we have put Mirallas in to a second striker position and brought on Lookman, rather than using Niasse ? Kenny was unlucky with the 2nd goal, felt he recovered well and was OK, we've been asking for him for ages, we need to let him settle in to the team, I'll take him over Martina every day. williams and Jags tougher are just to slow, Holgate with Jags would have been my choice. Just hope the lads can bounce back and start getting some results starting hopefully on Thursday, but defiantly Sunday.
  13. I like the way he is speaking, it's very positive, forward thinking and team focused, he said many times it's not about him or any one player it's about the team, if he can get the team spirit going I think the results will follow.
  14. Just watched the press conference, thought he spoke really well, composed and talked about "us, the team, we" is what we need just now a leader who is a true team player. I really hope he does well, as fans we need to get behind the team, particularly at Goodison, on Sunday it felt as we were resigned to getting battered once again.
  15. Glad he's gone, and there's no sympathy from me, at £6m pa there's enough dough around the shit sandwich to make it taste OK. For us lesser mortals, yes loosing your jab sucks, but it's not the end of the world.
  16. Yesterday was more than just a bad day at the office, it was the culmination of Koeman messing about with team selection and formation, the back 3 was he selected was never going to be able to hold firm against Arsenals speed and passing skills, they were waltzing through us immediately. If didn't change all game, the players are afraid of themselves and taking a shot, DCL gave his all, he will develop in to a good striker I think. ive not watched Sanchez live before, but having seen him yesterday he's a littlesh*t, he was telling the ref where we were to take our free kicks from and asking for a card at every tackle, how he didn't get a card himself baffles me, and the worst bit is we let him get away with it all game, a team with confidence wouldn't have let that happen. left the ground feeling totally disinterested, and will feel the same until Koeman goes. Can't say I'm enjoying my first year as season ticket holder.
  17. Pickford, stopped it from being a total whitewash, could have easily been 10 or more. DCL Arab his heart out and pressed forcing a few errors, Gana good energy and a few good tackles, then made his usual error of being on the wrong side and making a tackle. not a lot to be happy with, unless it gets Koeman out and quickly please.
  18. One trick pony? His delivery today was awful, first two free kicks didn't clear the first man, at other times Arsenal players breezed past him as if he wasn't there, slow to react, play passed him by, and he failed to put a foot in when needed, totally unimpressed with him so far
  19. I think that's exactly where we will be, I can't see any changes or improvement from Koeman in the way he is motivating and setting the team up, he looks like a defeated man, a stubborn one who won't do the decent thing and resign accepting he's got the whole process wrong here. I can understand people's concerns about Unsy being ready, but he's 44, not a kid, if he's ever going to be good enough to be a top manager, now is the time for him to do it imho
  20. At least he is consistently poor, not just for us.
  21. The only positive for me from yesterday is that it's definite Koeman isn't the right man, too stubborn, and doesn't see he is setting his starting line up wrong each game.
  22. He blew hot and cold yesterday for me, he made some awful errors, climbing over the back of Wood on a few occasions, poor passes out of defence, one awful attempted pass forward that ran straight out of play near the new of the game, he then pulled his shirt over his head, does he really think we can't see him if he does that, he's meant to be a grown man and leader, he's certainly not showing that in any way or form this season. Every time he had to chase a Burnley player he looked totally gassed after it. Then he made some good blocks and a couple of strong headers, and I could hear him shouting at the other players. I think he needs to be given a rest from the starting line up, get fit and get his head sorted, we may even be able to get some money back on him in January.
