I still think we'll be alright, but I am sick of us throwing points away in the first few games every season because we're incapable of getting our important business done until the end of the window.
It's infuriating.
Agreed, and this season more so shows that we need a goal scorer.

MOTM for me, I thought he was calm, composed and read the game well, on a couple of occasions he was able to get ahead of his man and win the outball, something I don’t see Keane or Tarks doing very much.
I hope we can keep him and build a younger pairing with him.

Just now, Matt said:
It was an excellent save by Sa rather than a miss.
Difficult for me to see from my seat, I won’t dispute it, Leno made two excellent saves from Maupay, we slaughtered Maupay for it, the one time he didn’t really deserve it imo.

This thread should be fucking booming after today, but his name isn't Michael fucking Keane so he's immune.
This fella is as much of a liability as Keane but he escapes criticism even though he has a mistake in him every single game.
Today he defended like a twat and had me feeling very nervous. It was no surprise that it was him at fault for their goal. I'm sure Nathan Patterson is getting most of the blame though because for some reason you can't say shit about our captain.
In the first half he almost cost us a goal with some braindead defending too letting Silva race in on goal. I lost my shit with the people that sit around me then because nobody was saying a word. So I said to them all if that had been Keane you lot would all be shouting abuse now, why you so quiet now? Not a fucking peep in response.
Totally agree, however I’m glad we didn’t with Danjumas miss 1 on 1, we would all be crucifying Maupay ( rightly so of course) , and a hopeless lump up field from Branthwaite in first half, Keane would be booed off the pitch.

Yet again I’m waking out of the ground shell shocked, 2 home games that we have been hit with a sucker punch, it hurts right now. Few beers and sleep, I’ll put things in perspective and think we will be on when we get players back, just hope these 6 points dont turn out to be crucial in May.

Small things annoy me, Maupay just ran off the pitch warm up ignoring the mascots, for the money he’s earning he could stretch an arm out to them.

I’m normally optimistic we will get a result in most games, just about to leave home on our way to the ground, and I’m not feeling that optimistic which is very frightening, hope I’m wrong!

After a nights sleep and time to reflect, not many expected a result, and once Dom took that knock he was out of kilter, which affected the rest of the team, what game plan we had fell apart. It shows how much we need a similar style of player as Dom as a back up.

Listening to some of the shit spouted out around where I sit, it’s always been there I reckon. One bloke calls Seamus a soft Irish c@@t on every mistake he make, if he didn’t look psychotic I’d have a word, but he looks like he could turn nasty at any moment.
Todays social media makes it just too easy to post this stuff and act like a big tough guy to your mates. They would probably drive a Ford Capri if they were still sold.

Let’s be honest if he tried to gloss over that in any way he would have made himself look a proper dick. I felt he was very restrained in what he said, he must be fuming he was totally let down and embarrassed by his players, as the club and the fans were. You very rarely see our away supporters leave in droves before the end of a game like we saw yesterday, hopefully Dyche doesn’t lose the support of the supporters or things are going to get very difficult.
Many would try to gloss over though, particularly the one who was here two years ago.

He will become the obligatory desperation signing I can feel it in my bones.
And that’s where we are unfortunately, if he does I do think he will do a decent job for us.

To all his detractors, you can’t knock his commitment to win the ball at personal risk.
Wishing him a speedy recovery, we look much better with him as a focal point.

DCL getting injured so early stopped any momentum we may have had, awful defending and the pen killed off the game. Write it off and move on.
Positives for me we’re Danjuma on the left wing, prepared to take his man on, shame no one was in the box the finish any crosses. Dobbin looked lively, he needs more game time to settle in. Garner kept trying.
Concerns are Patterson, Keane Tarks as a back line, and Young if he keeps making bad throw ins, Keane had no chance for the fourth. Branthwaite needs to tell Dyche play me or I’m off this window after today. Maupay, just get rid, although he was unlucky again with his shot being saved.

Fucking brilliant sub Dyche, way to rescue the game in the last minute you substitute Muppet!
THF I don’t think the rescue was on. Doucs was knackered, he made it to keep the score as it was.
