  1. I think we’re after Romero, but Utd wouldn’t let him go to us. Either way another Int keeper coming in should put a rocket up Jordan’s arse.
  2. It’s going to be an interesting Int break for Jordan, will he stay as England’s No1, will he be replaced by Olsen? If ever he was going to get his head and concentration sorted now the time for him to do it. We could be seeing a master stroke by Carlo.
  3. James Vaughan bagged two for Tranmere at the weekend !
  4. I don’t know any people with strong Manchester accents that suppler any merseyside team, wind up I reckon.
  5. I always thought that until he actually did get game time, very underwhelming for me, no where near our level now.
  6. I’m as concerned as everyone else at Pickford form, but just to balance the discussion, did we all see Edison and Popes performances yesterday, both made howlers, bad punches etc. DeGea is full of errors. I think being England’s no 1 puts more pressure from the press on Pickford, he needs to find a way to deal with it, and stop the silly mistakes.
  7. If we do have any irons in the fire, we are certainly going to be in a better position that a few weeks ago, top of PL and Carlos our manager, that has to be a project most players would be keen to join.
  8. Yerry Mina, scores a vital 2nd goal, and made a number of vital blocks, clearly worried were about to sign a new CF! Tom Davies put in a solid game, and James another maestro performance. Loving watching us.
  9. We were totally in control of the game until Richy had to go off, as previous post he didn’t look like he wanted to on the pitch today. Iwobi has been iwoeful yet again, looks like a rabbit in headlights when he gets the ball, and makes the wrong decision, and when he hasn’t got the ball he’s slow to close down and always seems flat footed and slow to respond to any pass in his direction. Pickford continues to wobble with the easy stuff, Carlo will decide on his future.
  10. Your right, but it helps if you have a couple in the squad who can play well in various positions
  11. It’s a shame he’s not made it here, and all his own doing IMO. Should have looked to another youngster who has handled himself impeccably is now banging in goals for fun and has the press talking about him in positive terms.
  12. I did and thought the same, Iwobi was on his heels, Iwobi needs to up his game.
  13. Can Delph play two consecutive games in 3 days? I was pleasantly surprised with him last night, maybe he’s seen the standard we’re at and what he needs to do to get a game, bloody hope so after last seasons shit shows he gave.
  14. Both the turn, surge forward and then the pass, it was one of his “scoop” kicks, if you haven’t seen it, have a look closer he often hits a high looping pass, some times he needs to whack it though. Last night was the best example of a scoop IMO
  15. DCL missed parts due to stream so Can really only go on the goals, but hell another hatrick will do for me.
  16. Great win marred by the injuries, hopefully not too serious, but they can happen in any match, Carlo was right in playing a strong team, really unhappy with the stream, mine kept freezing so missed big chunks of the game, not good value for £10 IMO. Email already sent asking for refund, which I’ll send to EITC if it happens.
  17. Wish I could make a comment. My stream keeps freezing then I have to sign out and in again. How do I claim a refund from Carabao?
  18. Well spotted, I’d be happy for them to take Delph, Ramirez Bolassie and Besic, Tosuns a good finisher maybe worth keeping hold for this season as back up for DCL.
  19. Great word and well used! Seamus is going nowhere under Carlo, apart from up the steps to lift a trophy. Fully expect him to see his playing days out with us.
  20. Based on Keane current form, him and Holgate as preferred pairing, so I wouldn’t be happy with anything over £10 for a back up, particularly as we know him and he’s not to the level of our recent acquisitions.
  21. I’m sure I’ve written sometime earlier on this thread, I saw him at the end of a game a couplee of seasons ago, he gave his shirt to a lad in the Gwladys St end, without his short he was incredibly toned, like a flippin washboard, since then he’s bulked out and remained ripped giving him so much upper body strength and He’s still very quick running. The last 15 minutes on Saturday he played a brilliant CF game, chased everything and won fouls slowing down any momentum Palace had.
