DCL gets my vote, gave both VVD and Matip a hard game, and played som every deft touches, the more I see of him the more I'm impressed. Everyone else bar Walcott and Schniederlin had good games, 9 out of 11, got to be happy with that.

Many have mentioned he crowd, I was there with my son and it felt great,  just wish we could be like that every game,  really think we could have nicked it today, but happy with what we did do.💙👍

Haha.... yeah let's pick gana out and ignore schneiderlein who literally did fuck all besides gift salah a one on one. 

Pickford's kicking was dreadful and Keane was very dodgy but everytime he done something bad he tended to make up for it. Then there's Gana who as per usual gifted them a chance, his passing today was embarrassing and he should've been subbed at half time. 

Was on a visit to a southern prem league club with work recently and they talked through their in the community scheme, theirs was a pretty good scheme I was thinking... but then they basically said that they aspire to be as good Everton’s. I smiled inside at that one, not the first time I’ve heard that.

I’ll take that. Clean sheet (well played Pickford), but what a comprehensive, structured, hard working performance. The best performance since the last derby. If we can do that every week, we’ll go from strength to strength. 
MOTM is the crowd. Even through a stream you could hear how they were behind the team in such a big game. 

Lovely finish for his goal. But also was impressed with the positions he got into. Second goal would never have happened without a player going near post.

Gylfi, scored 2 but he worked his ass off all night and really worked hard to link up and feed the forwards.  Gana just a close second he was everywhere and even got an assist.

There was concern in the warm up definately, JonJoe was also being drilled using his left foot, clear indication that he was expected to replace Baines at some point. Poor decision making from us, cost us an alternatives sub place, may have been a game changer ?

Clearly still an Everton fan, helping Citeh to their win and going top again!

You absolutely can fault his work ethic. 
At the beginning you couldn’t, absolutely. But I’ve watched him for months play like he’s totally disinterested. Just a token effort at most the majority of the time. 
I’m ecstatic he’s been dropped and I hope it stays that way for a good while. That might light a fire under his arse. 

He has, people doubted he had the talent, the ability to play at this level, he has proved them wrong.
Yes now he needs to demonstrate his ability consistently.  To do that he needs regular games in a position he is suited to, and support from the fans. We need to remember he is only 20 and will be inconsistent.

Came away from tonight’s game feeling pride in our team again, good fighting performance that been missing for a long time. Kenny, Davies and DCL starters for me, they gave us the grit we needed. 
Pissed off at the two sucker punch goals, Ciry were impressive, apart from falling over too easy.

Even when he is sitting deep he is making smart forward runs. Keep him in the side and challenge him to keep improving/ consistent levels.
Really happy he’s back on track and showing signs of improving into a good player.

We were just desperate to get the ball forward, that goal means nothing.
Excellent performance and the lads need to look at this and realisebthis is how they can play.

Loving this from Kenny. Great tackle on the edge from Gana, but Kenny deserves better from Walcott there. Determination in that lad is what the rest of the team need.
