I don't agree it was against the run of play.

It wasn't coming as such but if you let teams in and around your box too often, the margins for error are much smaller.

Townsend doesn't make the interception, Godfrey is sucked into the ball and neither he nor Mina can then get back out to the ball. The power on the shot is enough to beat Pickford along with the slight deflection.

United have had the best two chances, they have been in and around our box more than we have been around theirs.

Our best chance from Rondon was offside and the other two have been blocked shots. (I may have missed a chance as my stream went down for 5 minutes or so - Gray maybe?)

We are very much in this game though but we are going to have to take one of those counter-attacking chances. If we get the goal early enough, I can see United opening up a bit more and that will give us some more space to play in.

I think it was slightly against the run of play and with a slight deflection it compounded the problem. There is no way on the balance of play we should have gone in down.

Security is an absolute joke at Goodison to be honest and miles behind other stadiums. When entering Old Trafford I had to leave my rucksack in a secure area outside of the grounds perimeter and then on both occasions visiting the Camp Nou there have been security wands, frisks (if needed) and metal detectors.

It's always been a bug bear of mine that you can practically waltz into the ground unchecked providing you have a ticket.

Normally they do a half hearted attempt at a search but as the queues were still long after ko against Burnley they just let everybody in. You either need it or don’t! And in the world we live in I’m with you and think the latter.

I read a bit about the tokens when Arsenal launched them at the start of the season and it just seemed like a way for clubs to charge fans money for absolutely fuck all in return, unless I'm missing something I just don't see the point in them.

In short, no . Happy to be converted if someone can explain them better though. I know that the amount of tokens you have can mean you have more of a say in club decisions at board level but the personally, I think that's absolutely laughable - not a chance anyone outside of the board will have a decent say about anything remotely important.

Just that they were giving one away to all season ticket holders. I logged on but couldn’t work out how to get one of the free ones. I wouldn’t pay for one though.

Launching tomorrow (23rd of August) ... and yet there's still been nothing .

I still can’t work out how I will sell mine and my sons back together. It appears from looking at the site you can list them individually but not as a pair? I this is correct this is crap as if mine gets resold and my sons doesn’t if in a worse situation than not selling either. 🤦‍♂️ Stubhub was easy.

Well were not paying even half of 200k, so not sure how that's relevant. Alternatively we've paid £30m+ for players on nearly the same wage or more without being any form of option. I'm being flippant now, but for the wage thing, this seems to be the easiest to read and seems to be spot on vs other online sources.

Don't get me wrong, James drives me nuts with his nonchalance and laziness. I remember getting slated for it by most of the forum when I said drop him because we didn't have a right back fit and he wouldn't track back. But i also love him and rate him because he's absolutely one of the most value for money players we have for the moments he does contribute to, I.e. match winning moments going forward, which is more than most in the squad do.

He is proven to be a match winner. He is also a liability when someone doesn't pick up his slack. He's both, but had a  much more positive impact than negative.

And we got it right in that we didn’t give him a long contract. The whole fan base would have moaned like hell if we only gave him a 1 year.

    They did ok didn't they?

No-one is saying that buying cheap is the model for success - but buying players with talent with something to prove is.

How could you forget our very own captain! 😳
