I think it's a good move. He's quick, strong, a good defender, and most importantly, he was captain of the side at just 25. We need to bring in more leaders like that.
But his name is Denzel! Just reminds me of only fools and horses.

I think he was one of the better candidates that were being mentioned, especially if he could convince Neto to come with him
Let’s hope there are a few names in the hat we don’t know about yet
I’m one of the ones that are happy for him not to be appointed. I think his style of football wouldn’t give him long if the results didn’t go his way early on. Im happy this isn’t the direction the club are looking to go long term.

I keep seeing Potter being mentioned. I’d have more respect for the guy if he stuck it out at Brighton, got them safely into the top half and converting these chances on a regular basis.
If he was to leave Brighton to join us after they took a chance on him, is he the kind of manager we want anyway? We all feel betrayed by Carlo, so wouldn’t the Brighton fans feel just as betrayed by Potter if he left to join Everton? He should stay where he is and make the most of the opportunities that have been afforded to him already.
Really? I think that’s unfortunately how football works. I don’t see Swansea as much different to Brighton. He’s done well and will get rewarded for it. If he goes on to get top 4 with us you can bet your bottom dollar he’d be considered and a likely candidate and likely leave to the lines of Man Utd or Real Madrid. In an ideal world you’re right but that ship sailed along time ago.

Id like Potter. The xG and expected points Brighton should have got last season were off the charts. The reason they didn’t turn the xGand expected points into actual points or goals was the quality of players.

Don't do that to me!
It was from a spoof sky sports account. Don’t think he’d come back here anyway and I can’t believe we’d be that unimaginative. My favourite is probably Potter but I’m sure there will be others that would agree.

I thought the Moyes contract extension news was fake?

My little boy is 3 so he's got a bit of catching up to do!!
I'll give you a shout when we go.
Sounds good! It goes quickly though. Which is both a blessing and a curse. Especially if you’re on shift work like I was at his age.

Surely has to be Potter for me. A manager who can orchestrate decent football, a person who doesn’t think they’re bigger than the club and who’s ambitious. He ticks all the boxes.
-
I’d be happy with Potter. If I recall his team had way more expected points and xG than they got this season.

We go up to see the northern half of the clan and stay for a week or so, which we do 4 or so times a season. Respect for going to every home game from Bucks!
How old is your boy?
He’s 15 now (so I think from memory a little older than yours). If you ever do a day trip give me a shout.

He’s shown signs he’s capable of more this season. I’d rather we keep him. There are plenty of players in the squad I’d want to see leave before Davies.
Completely agree but the issue with the ones we’d want to see leave before Davies is they’re unlikely to be wanted especially due to the wages we’re paying them.

I'm taking my boy to the next match so will take him to the fanzone.
Do you go up on the train or drive? I only ask as make the long trip to every home game with my boy from Bucks.

Pickford is a great shot stopper. He is pretty weak when it comes to Ariel ability and catching. He punches like a daisy.
For me there’s nothing better than a goalie who actually comes out and catches a ball. So many punch these days. If you can get two hands on it you can catch it. It just relieves all the pressure.

That is the biggest blessing we’re ever likely to have with him. A full rest, a full preseason and a James that is pissed off with his own Columbian coaching staff and wanting to prove them wrong for not selecting him.

No. Our fans struggle to spell Digne correctly, so this would be a nightmare.
If we bought him I’d keep it simple and call him ‘Special K’

No Delph in the squad today. I hope he’s there supporting the team though.
I hope he was on a plane to South America and not coming back to Everton. I’m just annoyed I didn’t get to see a photo of it to enjoy. Probably would have injured himself climbing the steps though.

Actually I found Leicester’s collapse today funnier than ours, but yeah they have some very good players who I’d love here
Except their collapse includes an FA cup and Europa League next year
