The mods don't hang around moving threads of departed players...wow!
I went to post in it and couldn’t believe the efficiency of the clean out in here! I thought they could have let us dwell for at least 24hrs! Today though the disappointment has gone and I’m more angry at the total mismanagement of our club in the last 7 years that’s led to this and the fact we are now so far behind Spurs when for the majority of my life we’ve had parity or been better.

I’d be very happy if this one was to come off.

The guy with the money is mates with Steve Bannon. No directly to Trump, but one of his allies.
But rich old American fellas will know plenty of other rich old American fellas. With many of them not being very nice.
Also, some of the assumptions I’ve read about what these people will do with the club, how they finance it, and many more are massive jumps from just a couple of articles so far.
Hopefully if these guys come in they want the stadium to be a little bit bigger and have a few adjustments put in.
With the planning applications required I can’t see that happening.

Mate of mine is a Spuds fan. Reckons there's some noise about Richy going for £50m and then us paying £20m to get Winks.
No ta.
I can’t and won’t believe that’s true. We’re stupid but hopefully not that stupid.

I agree. I think I heard that only 1 in 5 normally take up a season ticket. As a southern Evertonian season ticket holder I’m not looking forward to this season with the prices of fuel going up in an almost daily basis. I seriously considered stopping it this season purely down to this.

Unbelievably good yesterday against Scotland. Watching him in midfield to me makes me feel he isn’t being used properly as a LB. I can’t believe we’d be able to afford him but if we can it’s a no brainier. His quick feet yesterday completely surprised me.

Terrible Grand Prix circuit and a joke they call it the jewel in the crown. It’s just a procession. This is then compounded by inept decisions from race control to extract any excitement for the viewing public. Two rolling starts and no chance of racing in the rain when they have an extreme wet tyre. However, I watched it so I guess I’m the fool.

I don't know if it's been mentioned somewhere else and I've missed it in all the excitement, but this was victory number 1,878 in the top flight.
I saw that and the irony wasn’t lost on me. Had I known that prior to the game I could have relaxed a lot more knowing it was written in the stars.

Just got home. Couldn’t help myself but spend an hour or so in the pub post game sucking up the celebration and energy. Where do I start? I’m not going to dissect the game but to say what an experience and it was everything I love and hate with Everton in one game, but I wouldn’t change it for the world!

What we needed was a manager given a realistic amount of time, and Moshiri to stop interfering on signings.
Who would you have wanted longer? Big Sam? Rafa? In an ideal world with progression I’d agree but the appointments have been poor with the exception of Carlo. However even this was mad when you see the agreed clause in his contract. Id agree Moshiri has interfered with transfers but also the mangers have bought in overpriced players that aren’t likely to have had moshiri involvement and we havnt got value for money on these eg. Tosun, Walcott, Klaassen, Siggy, Bolasie
You can’t keep appointing mangers that are poles apart in how they play. That’s why we have a surplus of players that just don’t work. It’s the square peg, round hole analogy.

Ok I just watched a couple of different replays. Sorry… don’t think it’s a penalty.
Gordon is running in a straight line then simply loves his right leg into the feet of Matip. The push for me is just two players coming together.
Would be mad if that was given against us.
Sorry guys, don’t get mad with me.
I’m not mad just disappointed!
Matip treads on Gordon’s foot whilst pushing him. I can’t see any other decision being at all feasible. Also if that was the other round it would 100% be given.

Why? It was the fashionable thing to do.
I’d say keeping up with the times as fashion comes and goes. The evidence that we didn’t use one as they’re meant to be utilised has manifested itself into the mess we have today and shows why the role exists. If it doesn’t you have to have people that the relevant football knowledge which we clearly don’t.

I don’t get this putting all the blame on Moshiri yes his appointment with Benitez was a catastrophe waiting to happen but prior to that the managers we employed were awful in the transfer market.
koeman was a disaster.
I still say the best coach was silver and the players got him sacked. Why get a director of football then? The problem has been the appointment of managers that have footballing styles/philosophy that are poles apart. When they’ve inevitably get sacked we end up with a patch work quilt of a squad that can’t be shoehorned into a cohesive team. What needed to happen was for Moshiri to let Brands set a type/style of play from top to bottom of the club and then appoint mangers that fit this vision. For me it’s on Moshiri. How he still pumps money in and builds the stadium is commendable but the worrying part is he’s still not learnt.

The second one he also had Matip standing on his foot.
This is what I’ve been saying to everyone and it’s not been highlighted anywhere. Sky Sport conveniently ignore this in the Ref watch. AG even mentioned this in his post match interview. The stand on the foot is for me the bigger foul but the fact he pushes at the same time is why this is as clearer pen as you’ll see. Dermot then goes on to say I’ve seen them given and also not given and he would fall down on the side of no penalty! I don’t want to sound like a raving conspiracy theorist but the decisions we get there have been and continue to be ludicrous.

Last season we went there expecting to win, and we did, how things have changed.
Our players were good away when there was no one there watching.

No idea why I must be glutton for punishment as I’ll be watching with the ridiculous hope that some miracle might happen. I used to go into these games with a glimmer of hope but that extinguished many years ago now.

I’ve still not renewed with a few days to go. I probably will but the cost of fuel at the moment getting there and back every other week is killing me! Also the amount of times we’ve had fixtures moved has meant train travel is almost impossible too.

The clause wouldn't have been activated even if he'd played in every game for the rest of the season after he signed for us.
That’s fair enough I knew it was close. Knowing Levi there’s probably more to it than meets the eye. He is a luxury style player but there have been opportunities he could have played. I just can’t see him staying past the summer based on what we’ve seen so far.

Why are they obsessed with the hideous armpit colour change? Don’t like that and sponsor looks too low. Like the tower detail though. It’s ok.
