Any wait to see some blue seats on the north stand next week, and hopefully the roof skin on the north stand too.
Now most of the roof and terracing is complete it’s really looking like a stadium. When the lower west stand terracing goes on soon and the south stand reaches ground level it’s going to show the scale of the thing.
One thing we can be excited about.
Until it’s sold and we are just the tenants. This is and has always been my biggest fear.

100% - the fact that Moshiri thinks it’s good for club immediately indicated to me it’s not.

We could've done with this announcement last week when there was fuck all to talk about other than demari!
With a Everton there’s never a time when there’s nothing to talk about!

He was never going to play for us again after he’s been frozen out since the summer. We are so light on numbers now though it’s seriously concerning. AFCON as well will diminish the numbers further in Jan.

777 would be a disaster! However, based on the breakdown of the MSP I’d assume that the same issues will arise with other investors surrounding the Rights and media funding.

The style of football is horrendous. There’s a way to play direct but I’m seeing so many speculative long ball bashed forward. Also we’re so narrow we give each team an easy out against us.

I struggle to have much affinity with any of our current players and Iwobi is no exception. I struggle to see why some see him as the second coming of Christ. Hes at best an average player in a terrible team. He did better under Lamps but for 2 years prior to that he was terrible. I’ll wish him well but I’m happy he’s off for the fee reported. I’m a little worried not heard much about this deal for a few hours now.

Got bored of this one a while ago! This has just dragged on like many before him. Add a Mars bar and a packet crisps and it might just tip the scales.

I think this is probably the best overview of him. He is certainly a player that has his moments but they do seem fairly evenly balanced between good and bad. On his good he might get into a top 10 side but his bad weighs him down to our level!
He was summed up perfectly for me in the first game of the season when he did a fantastic piece of skill on the wing then cut inside drove towards goal then made a massively over hit pass which went straight to their goalie. My son and I looked at each other and almost in unison said ‘typical Iwobi’

The reason we won't do the same is as far as I know Gray is in the last year of his contract so if true he walks for nothing next summer gnonto has 4 years we have to sell Gray now also Iwobi walks for free so we need to sell him also or offer him a really good contract to get him to sign..
IMO we can’t afford to offer Iwobi a massively improved deal. He’s already one of the highest paid and paying him much more will cause us problems down the line.

With Harrison injured for the next month or so it wouldn't make the most sense to let him go now. Maybe deadline day.
I don’t think he’s going to feature at all regardless so we might as well sell unless we feel we can more by dragging it out.

Obviously he could and maybe should have put have put one of his chances in the back of the net, but I was definitely more disappointed with Patterson's and Doucoure's missed opportunities.
Doucs should have just slid Garner in for a tap in (not that many in his position would have done that!)

Hard one to call as I felt nobody stood out.

It was a Fulham fan apparently.
Not that that makes it any better because people shouldn't have to deal with that shit.
I saw that too but too easy for anyone to write anything anonymously. I might be in the minority in that I actually thought he looked sharper yesterday than anything I’ve seen of him in an Everton shirt. He should obviously of scored, he’s not clinical and neither the answer to our problems when DCL isn’t fit. However, I’ve never seen him take up such good positions as he did yesterday.

I’d be shocked if this one happens. Maybe using it as leverage for another deal. We don’t have the pulling power we had a few years ago.

More than one as well!
If it’s his right leg we’re fine though as I’ve never seen him use it.

We should be a lot sharper than this. I have seen a few teams this preseason, against better opposition too and we look miles behind.
We’ve been constantly told they’ll be up there as the fitness squad. But so far they slow physically and mentally. The passing has been really poor. I try not to get to worked up pre season but it’s not making me look forward to taking my seat against Fulham in 2 weeks.

Since Dyche has come in we’ve only scored 7 goals in 12 home games! That’s a goal every 154 mins (and that doesn’t include the added time!) - Pathetic
