All should be forgiven now. I really hope fans don't give him a hard time. He's Everton now; embrace him completely.

It was tongue in cheek! I’ll certainly be supporting him when I’m back in my seat in 3 weeks time. He’s not an Evertonian so had no allegiance to this club and was doing what he thought was best for his career. I’m sure like anything there will be some but football fans are fickle and after he scores the winner against Fulham in front of the Gwladys it’ll be a distant memory.

26 days until the PL returns and we've brought in a 38 year old squad player.

    I'm not worried, honest.

It’s crazy but not unexpected from Everton. Compounding issue is we have in theory an easy ish start to the season and yet we’ll either still not made the purchases or they’re just in through the door and Dyche wouldn’t have had time to bed them in.

Have we actually offered him a contract?

The reports are that we have but he’s rejected it so far. I’m not in favour of increasing his wages (already high) as that has a knock on effect with the rest of the squad and future acquisitions with regards wage structure which has been an issue for us in the not so long past. I also don’t think he’s worth it!

  4. Imo we need to make a decision on him and quick. I can’t see anyway he signs a new contract now and therefore we lose him for free next summer. I personally don’t think we can afford to lose players for nothing and therefore we need to get this done. We have so much work in the transfer market this summer and as always we’re doing what we do best - very little and slowly!

Just seen the latest club video on the stadium...really is looking impressive. Shame there's so much shit at the club just now.

I didn't realise how big and dominant the old hydraulic tower is.

All of it together looks superb.

I think the stadium is looking awesome and I’m a bit obsessed. Its about the only thing that has kept my sanity Everton wise for the last year. I might be in the minority but I can keep the two things separate and still appreciate even with the shambles of ownership, board and the teams performance.

My brother was there, seen some say 200-300. I’m not sure based on that clip, will ask him.

If change isn’t forthcoming I think it will gather momentum. Many fans are literally burnt out with it.

I think the low(ish) numbers are that most fans believe change is imminent based on the rumours and fact the board have put themselves in an untenable position. Also, some others don’t live close and others are finally getting a Saturday football break they and their families deserve.

He managed Watford too, and was sacked... 👀.

I apologise from memory I thought he was just a temporary manager when their manger moved on so I didn’t count it. Looked it up now and see he did a full season before being sacked. Points very much stand though 😂 Also who doesn’t get sacked from Watford.

  8. Not as a knee jerk reaction but as I said on here prior to the appointment I just don’t think he’s tactically good enough. These players are poor but hoofing it repeatedly forward to an isolated inexperienced PL striker was school boy stuff. I can start to say how disappointed I was with this. Dyche unfortunately only knows one way and didn’t evolve in the decade he was with Burnley. He’s also a one club manager so isn’t used to much change or needing to adapt as his side was fairly settled throughout. If we stay up I’ll be surprised but over the moon. If we go down Dyche better not be our manager next season.

Straight away I said that shouldn't have been a corner, but forgot all about it once the corner came in and we scored. It was only watching MOTD that I remembered again.

I was exactly the same until my son was telling me on way home a few Arsenal fans were moaning about it on social media. I couldn’t care less they certainly got their fair share of dodgy decisions.

How good was Onana today! He’s going from strength to strength. I hate the game at Anfield but I am looking forward to him getting into their fragile midfield.

On TalkSPORT before the game today the board got ripped into, I think it was Sam Matterface. Refreshing change from Brazil and Whyte defending them.

I was listening to this and I feel the whole of the media has finally woken up in the last few weeks to how badly we’ve been run. I’m hoping their time is up soon. Surely their positions are untenable now?

  11. Only Everton can hit the lowest of lows and then somehow surpass it days / weeks later. I’ve lost all hope in us staying up. I get the Dyche appointment now. He was cheap and they weren't going to give him players to work with. I didn’t agree with appointment but on scale of things it’s low down in my anger and disappointment. The fact is the hierarchy have no vision or plan. I’ll be there as always Saturday supporting this shambolic team but changes to the top need to be made and fast. The problem with this is I can’t see Moshiri selling anytime soon as the losses he’ll encounter will be gigantic (especially when we go down).

Didn’t want to look biased in your view but counted them going down after he’d left. Give him a chance. 😂

Besides, he’s a nice bloke, and he’s mates with Serge from Kasabian. Doesn’t that help?
My Dad phoned me earlier saying get Sam back. So obviously I’m now very keen on Dyche. 😂

If we get big Sam I think I’d seriously consider relinquishing my season ticket. I promise you that’s not being sensationalist.
