Everton first and foremost, always, so I want us to win.

Winner gets champs league, why not go for it! A trophy and champs league, here in the states we call that a double whammy

Got absolutely no problem with Liverpool winning the league on footballing ability and results, however i'm getting sick already of Red's berating me about how incredible they are, how well we SHOULD have done and how they're Champions already.
Already got lads in work talking to me about how they're deserved winners, they may have had "one decision go in their favour" all season and people are claiming different because they don't want them to win the league "fairly", how Suarez (although better admittedly) hasn't cheated at all or conned anyone since last season. How Sterling is THE best young player in the world (obviously forgetting his terrible form up until February), blatantly spunking on Rodgers' comments.
They deserve the title. They genuinely do. So why can't their fans just be a little bit more respectful about it. Less 'gloaty' and just allow others to praise their team when they deserve it and not EXPECT it already.
Already annoying me and it's not happened. Quite yet.

Like we didn't compete when we were in Europe before? When we had worse squads? When we had less quality?
I'm not having it. Champions League is beyond us, and I don't think we're ready for it anyway. Europa League is a natural progression and will stand us in good stead for if we do ever reach the CL.

And now they are awarded a penalty for basically nothing. The bias in this league is so incredibly obvious and very depressing.

Opposite of what grinds your gears thread, so post anything thats upped your positivity or that you're just happy about in general. So basically a thread I can post in and not be a moaning Myrtle. Open to suggestions for the title (I couldnt remember the ones suggested in the shout box yesterday).
Any how, I had been struggling to get my head round a subject, so had a day away from revising it. Come back to it and it magically all makes sense. Dont know if its my brain subconsciously figuring it out or my head was just unable to think from tiredness, but I'm happy now either way.

Agree.
Theres a certain amount of naivity with people that go to games at times. I have been to Goodison m ore times than i can remember but i also understand that;
1, that doesnt make me a better judge than anyone who does not go.
2. it makes me priveleged.
3. it gives me one perspective and no second chance.
On the other hand it also gives me a chance to see whats not on camera, like the players talking.
Back on the subject of Traore, i didn't think he was as bad as many made out and i think time has been against him as some are remembering what the want to.
His touch was off, this could be match fitness, new league and even trying to hard... ala Barkley.
His work rate was low, again could be match fitness after an injury.
his positioning was average. new team, new team mates and new play style. so actually could maybe deserve credit here?
Scored a goal on his debut.
He is on a loan deal from Monaco. If he was an embarrassing mistake then here is thier chance to quietly allow him to leave for a low price.
If they rate him then a loan is the best we will achieve this season.
Conclussion. 61 minutes is in no way a fair time to judge him. It's plenty of time to make an opinion though and thats where people are making mistakes. Everyone is entitled to rate him or doubt him after seeing him a second. Just dont judge until he has had a fair chance to show himself.

Howard bums Moyes because he knows he shouldn't be 1st choice at a great club like Everton.

I've got to say that I get a little bit confused when I'm constantly hearing that United are a club with class. They are a classless, horrible, snide football club.

Finished the season with 8 goals (25th in the league at the moment) and 8 assists (8th in the league right now) then. You can say what you want about the level of his play but he's been productive pretty consistently.

Being an Everton servant especially a manager means you have been very fortunate and carries a lot of responsibility.
Take those responsibilies seriously, follow the traditions of the club and respect the name and it's fans and you will always receive a warm welcome.
The ambitions of our club should never be diluted to suit a managers agenda, our position at the top table should never be questioned at any stage. He did this whilst in charge.
Once leaving he further questioned our status, insulting our ambitions to retain players he seen as key.
Anyone who wants to applaud him like he's Joe Royle or Howard Kendall he's just not worthy. Neither of those two men would have done what he did. That's because they are Everton men, Moyes isnt and never was.
Using his old club to win favour with his new club was a disgraceful tactic from Moyes, if he had any sentiments towards his former club he's gonna feel the pain this afternoon. He's made his bed.

I knew that this game would kick off the DM discussions again. Im just going to pull my hoody over my head, lay in the corner of my bedroom shaking and hope that mummy and daddy stop fighting.
Ive got bloody visitors coming today. Hope they leave early so there is no discussion about having the game on. Im watching it regardless, just a matter of how much shit i get for watching it. Many guests = a bucket load, few guests = some evil stares, no guests = all good.
