A late goal like that is always cruel, but all in all a fair result imo.

I'd take both Pienaar and Mirallas off for Deulofeu and McGeady.

a good set piece can fall and go anywhere(as shown against the shite at home)...it just infuriates me we never even get the chance to create a panic against the defence

People who ask for your advice/opinion/guidance but cut you off and dismiss your answer before you even get to the main bit.

Don't f*cking ask for my opinion then if you've already made up your mind.

Soldado just missed an open goal from 4 yards...... he's got to be the worst striker in the Premier League

pete0 reacted to Hafnia in Duncan Ferguson
I actually had an in depth chat with Sharpie about Duncan a short while back. Lets just say this, Sharpie had no doubts whatsoever about his ability - he said Ferguson could have been one of the very best as he had absolutely "everything".

He did also in the same breath say that he was at fault for not realising that potential. He never held back on that one. He really likes him as a person too.

Could he have played instead of either Gray or Sharp? Yes, that team of 85 would have had Steven and Sheedy planting crosses on his nut time after time.

pete0 reacted to Romey 1878 in ITV want Martinez as World Cup pundit (as do ESPN)
Jesus, BBC's pundits are going to send the nation to sleep. Coupled with the boring football we're likely to see from England we're all going to sleep very well.

We've been given a reduced allocation by Arsenal due to safety concerns. By reduced I mean about 4000 less tickets.

It's not safety concerns at all. They just didn't want 9000 away fans out singing their fans.

If they couldn't cope with a full allocation then the game should've had to be played behind closed doors.

They've used this excuse for each round so far. It's bull shit.

If we're using stats, may as well use Traore's too.

    2007–2008 Stade d'Abidjan 27 (19)
    2008–2011 CFR Cluj 44 (14)
    2011–2012 Kuban Krasnodar 38 (18)
    2012–2014 Anzhi Makhachkala 29 (13)
    2014– Monaco 0 (0)
    2014– → Everton (loan) 1 (1)

    Club: 139 Appearances, 65 Goals.

    2011 Côte d'Ivoire U23 5 (3)
    2012– Côte d'Ivoire 7 (4)

    Internationals: 13 Apperances, 7 Goals.

    Nearly 1 in 2.

No-one can truly say that Vellios deserves more of a start. I love the guy but he's just not as good as we'd all hoped.

Write Traore off, might as well, it's not like 1 in 1 is anything to truly shout about.

If you want my opinion, I always wondered how he'd do in this league, couldn't quite work him out as a player. Very hot or ghost like, shows signs of brilliance and signs of weakness. He tries things that most out and out strikers don't care about (fancy passes, range shots) and I like the fact he's different. Some of his touches and passing was off, I get that, he has also been out for 5 months without a game, so he's bound to be a yard or two slower (mentally and physically).

If he's still 'as bad' as a 1 in 1 striker in 8 matches time, i'll eat massive humble pie and agree, he wasn't what I expected.

But for now, he's our only 'true' striker, so get behind him for fucksake.

New to this site so I don't know anyone or how people are, i've just come on here during work time hoping to have discussions with some proper Everton fans. Winds me up how much doom and gloom goes along with being an Everton fan, you get it at the match all the time people moaning because a player misplaces a pass or we draw with a team a few places below us and its the end of the world.

This season has been a good season whether we finish 1st or 11th, we have a new manager that plays football the right way and knows how to make posiitive substitutions, we have been unlucky with timing of injurys but you can't expect any new manager to come in and perform miracles immediately! Its a working progress and we are definitely moving in the right direction, the McCarthy shout was beyond deluded, the lad has been brilliant.

I'm looking forward to the next few years under Bobby and I think all Everton fans should.

Nothing bad there, just a frustrated young man wanting a chance.
After that if I was Rm I would give him a go and see what his attitude on the pitch is like.

Shocking that Webb shit out and called Gerrard over, yellow even possible red for Sterling then.

How the fuck can the league run respect campaigns for the officials when they let the Sky teams tell the refs how to do their job and don't get the same punishment as the rest of the league.
