You brought the slap up not me any other industry he would already be sacked. No
I’ll give him and the team credit for beating Liverpool but the other teams we’ve just beat aren’t we expected to beat them and the next 2 games.
I didn't say you had. I'm pointing out that it's a factor that also played a part in making this season harder than it needed to be. Despite that we should be sitting on 12th. 12th! Again, not good enough long term but a massive improvement on the previous 2 years despite the shit run.
No,based on the last few years, few of our remaining fixtures were "expected to win" games going on recent times. Absolutely expected to wins back in the 80s tough, just a shame we've only really got 2-3 really good players.

It's also noticeable how much more relaxed he is in press conferences now as well - having a laugh etc. Which I think is understandable given the pressure he's been under was unimaginable.
It's why I think it was a little unfair that some people held his prickly manner against him so much. If I was him I'd have been fucking unbearable .
Have been?

Yeah, I've had a lot of patience considering the big picture. Regardless of the bad run, he took over a squad with no morale or organisation, had it weakened, takeover chaos and points deductions, survived the previous 2 seasons by minutes and have got them to perform to a mid table level (minimum) even after the drama following the slap heard around the world.
Is it good enough forever? Absolutely not. Is it good enough for now? Considering everything, yes. Sometimes it's been exciting, most of the time dull as fuck, out of necessity in my eyes. But yeah, all things considered, good and ugly, I think he's done very very well.

That's called critical thinking apparently

As owners in waiting the 'deal' has obviosley been that 777 Partners fund the club running/ ongoing stadium build until paperwork is all sign sealed and delivered on the deal.
It will not be simple becasue the owners won't pay, it will be becasue that's what the current agreement is between 777 and Moshiri.
Situations changes if Moshiri is back to square one in any sale of the club - he'll have to sort out ongoing payment in another way, (plus have a 777 loan on the books) but we are not at this stage - yet.
Fair enough. I'm not that confident in our owner when it comes to finances so I'm biased.

Understanding from what source?
Well why else would Moshiri laden the club he's trying to sell with more debt when he's easily capable of funding the running himself?

Where did you read that? All sounds very alarmist to say things like "at the death" but 777 were actually just making a payment that they'd agreed to make as far as I can see, and making it on time.
777 are dodgy for sure and these are worrying times, but keep it real
The payment is to keep the club running because the current owner won't is my understanding

Have we been in the situation of people not being paid have we been anywhere near it I doubt it all we have is negative press about our club.
That's what part of what the 777 money is currently for as I understand. Moshiri closed the taps off.

The thing I find most unsavoury about this whole thing is that Moshiri would rather see his employees go without wages and their families suffer, rather than take onboard the responsibility for the shit show he has created and keep the club afloat.
I have no idea what his going on with the PL and 777 yet without the 200 million 777 have put into the club we would have gone into administration long before now and with a another possible 9 points deduction would more than likely be playing Championship football next season, I don’t understand why so many have a problem with 777 just think where we might have been without their commitment and investment to buying the club.Oh I do. Basic things like not having money to hand for purchase for a start.

I really can't see that at all - some of are parts are worth less than whole for which they are going to pay for.
Our value is in the fact we have been the worst run club in the Premiership, when traditionally/historical we are argubley the 4-5 most decorated club in the land. Real value is making this great club relavent again.
For all their other shortcoming I feel this is what 777 Partners truly see in us.
Nobody would argue that we have been very badly run, so masses of room to improve this.
Genuinely hope I'm wrong mate. I usually try to see the positives but I just don't feel it here.

That it's resolved one way or another mate. I'm terrified of 777 but another buyer is just as likely to be bad as good. We just need to lnow.

Doesn't seem significant, but with each place higher up the league now being worth an extra £3m+ in prize money, climbing an extra place or two would be handy for the coffers.
Is it £3m now?! So my post in about the points being a double punishment should've said £6m fine.

Agree, but I don't think we'll be signing more than 2-3 more than we sell.
