Or not being a dick head is paying off.
Madness that there were calls to sack him.

Finally got a result that underlying numbers have said we should’ve earned much earlier this season.
I still just can’t comprehend why anyone would be falling to sack Dyche. Not saying I love him but, again, these projects take time, and we haven’t given a single manager enough time to evaluate them since probably Martínez which was 7 damn years ago. Total lunacy.

Having watched the game last night, a few things come to mind.
    1) Having a real striker on the field makes a huge difference.
    2) We're really not playing badly and don't deserve to be this low in the table.
    3) With new players in crucial roles, it's going to take time for them to gel.
    4) For those who think Danjuma made too many wrong decisions, let me point out that he's scored twice in two games.
    5) Note our height in the team spine: Branthwaite, Onana, and Beto. We're going to benefit from this.
    6) The officiating was.. puzzling? Spraying a new line rather than tell players to move behind the existing one? Just crazy.
I have no doubt that we're going to start climbing the table as this improved team line-up begin to understand one another better.

There are a lot of red flags for me with this 777 outfit. Even the name makes them sound like a online bookies.
Also feels a bit rushed after the full MSP deal not getting over the line.
Being positive, this club could have a signifcantly better 'feel' about it in 6 months time. Playing roster seems to slowly getting its self in order financially, new stadium getting ever closer, and dare I say it maybe get away from a relegation battle this season!
It would be fool hardy to see the club sold to vultures in a blind panic. Don't want this to be a case of our of the frying pan and into the fat - ownership wise. Moshiri - please get one thing right!!

This is def a holding season. Our FFP accounts are still shouldering a loss-making year of around 150M, plus -45M and a report break even (last year).
So just surviving this year and doing it prudently will make a massive difference for FFP as we will be down to approximately 40-60 in losses over a 3-year period...against an allowable 115M.

    This.
We are restructuring our finances in respect of the playing side of the club so that in the years to come we can build from a good base on good wages, rather than desperately needing to sell to buy both on fees and wages as well.

After today’s game be aware of clickbait. The next few days will be excruciating.

We will be linked to crap and see reports that were already relegated, getting a points deduction, BMD will never be finished and anything else we can think of.

Reading into a couple of tweets, I think Harrison will be our next signing. Linking this to the Thelwell interview where he says we don’t need to sell, I think Harrison will be Gray’s replacement and we’ll still target Gnonto and a more senior striker.

FFP is doing exactly what it was brought in to do - stop anyone else disrupting the established teams at the top table.

Quinn31 got a reaction from Matt Tiger in Ashley Young
I don't know what my response would've been if you told me Ashley Young would be our first summer signing... Just really bizarre. Almost feels as weird as when we signed Samuel Eto'o under Martinez.

At least our expectations are low on this one. No long term contract or big transfer fee means the financial downside to this one is next to nothing as well. I have no idea how this signing will go, but props to him for maintaining such a high level playing career for so long and into his late 30s. Surely it at least speaks to his work ethic and professionalism.

He will be far less disappointing than 90% of the signings we made in the past 7 years.

It would be too risky putting money into him. Wrong side of 30 and coming off a very bad injury means there's every chance he can't even come back to even the (poor, imo) level he was before.
Definitely the right decision to let him go.

I hope we never have to call on him because he'd still be trying to get up from saving a shot the next day.

Good news. Alan Kelly likes him and has said he’s been a big part of the keepers team. Shame we couldn’t keep Begovic too. Whatever has been happening in the keepers team has been very good for Pickford.

Quinn31 reacted to Romey 1878 in Tom Davies
One of our (many) problems is that there's a huge drop off from the first 11 to anyone else and having Tom Davies as a squad player epitomises that.
He's not a good footballer, he's not good at anything! Doesn't score, doesn't assist, doesn't tackle, slow, can't head the ball, can't shoot, poor positional awareness, rash, immobile, weak.
Awful footballer who is now, more than likely, going to get a pay rise for contributing fuck all during his previous contract. Dead money.

Feel like he belongs in the Championship for some midtable side that wants to play on the front foot.

We’ve stupidly offered him a new deal.
If he wants to actually have a career of playing games he should reject it. If not, it says a lot about him and nothing good imo.
London Blue will be happy though .
