Sadly I agree with Ten. Some of the conversations on here do not fit our strap line of "Forums For The Thinking Evertonian".

A mother is making a cake for her three sons when she accidentaly dropps some BB pellets from the shelf into the batter. She decides that it won't matter and continues to make the cake. Later that day, her sons eat the cake and don't even notice the BBs.

The next day, when the mother is reading a magazine on the couch, one of her sons runs in saying, ''Mom, mom, I pissed out a beebee!''
She says ''That's okay, son. I accidentaly dropped some beebees into the cake batter. You'll be fine.''

Five minutes later, one of the other sons, come running in and he says, ''Mom, mom, I-'' but the mother cuts him off and she says, ''I know, I know, you pissed out a beebee. I dropped it into the cake batter, but you'll be fine.''

Then her last son runs in the room, and he says, ''Mom, mom, I-'' and the mother cuts him off and says, ''I know, I know, you pissed out a beebee. It's my fault for dropping it in the cake batter, but you'll be fine.'' But then son says, ''No, no, I was masturbating and I shot the dog!"

So undecided as to whether Remy is worth the gamble. I think he is a quality player though.

Some members on here seem to rate Bony but I don't think he is particularly great and certainly don't think he will be worth what Swansea will want for him.

Without being unrealistic, if we'd have beaten Arsenal, we'd have that cup.

Never let it be said I'm a fanboy, if Martinez does something wrong he can cop for the same shit that Moyes took.

As others have written, the final score flattered Arsenal. While Arsenal were probably the better team on the day, either team could have won. We had chances, we played well, so we can hold our heads high. We were away to Arsenal, for goodness sake; it's not as if we lost at home to Charlton.

As for the criticism of Robles, I don't understand it. He was not to blame for any of the goals, and he made some good saves. The outcome would have been no different if Howard had been in goal, so why all the sarcy comments about him? He did his job.

And as for writing off the season, you must be joking! We're still a game in hand over United, with a game against them at home. Spurs lost again today and have some other tough matches coming up. We have an excellent chance of finishing fifth, which is more than what most were predicting when the season began. It means we'll experience European football next year after quite a drought.

So why all the negativity? This is a building season, and we're exceeding expectations.

Hi mate. Not been online often so sorry for the late-ish reply.

Israel are alright aye. Not amazing but could upset someone somewhere along the line - similar to Georgia in our group. Both are horrible places to go and try and get a result due to all the shit surrounding both countries and the way the teams dig in on the park.

I have evaluated things more and I'm thinking perhaps Wales might get second. I'm wondering if perhaps I am 'fanboying' over Bosnia and as a result overrating them a little. I guess we will know more after the World Cup.

But yeah, there's no reason why Wales can't get 2nd, although if I had to bet my house on it tomorrow I'd still go Belgium, Bosnia. Let's hope both our nations will be there, even if it's via play-offs.

Would be made up with Europa League qualification, whether it be finishing 6th or winning the FA Cup, obviously i'd prefer the latter. Not arsed if people think its a shite cup, it builds the profile of the club and European away days with your mates are decent!

Baines. He was a terror on the flank and put in some great crosses and link up play. Had the assist on the winner and did a great job defensively as well. Glad to see him with the captain's band when ossie left

I'd be a little disappointed spending £10m on Hernandez.

Too similar to Cahill (was). Good poacher, but doesn't have the other parts to his game to be a truly top striker (especially one that'll be playing as a lone forward.

If the Chang deal is supposed to be tapping into the Asian market they have it all so wrong, I've been in Asia (Singapore) for 5 months now and spent a lot of time in Thailand which is where our hotel is located. Chang is massive here it's on tap and bottled in every bar in Thailand, bottles in every bar in Singapore and readily available in supermarkets. I've also recently become aware that Chang are big real estate owners in Singapore including a string of hotels.

Can I find anywhere to watch an Everton game? NO!

Can I find anywhere to buy any Everton Merchandise? NO!

Have I ever seen anything with Chang and Everton on here (billboards / advertising)? NO!

It's disappointing because the premier league is massive in Singapore and Malaysia, not so much in Thailand but on the whole Asia loves it's EPL. I really think if we are going to renew the Chang deal then a far better marketing side needs to be put in place. This is an untapped market everybody supports ManU, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and a small following of City due to their recent success. The Kitbag deal really holds us back too, the shops here could be flooded with the royal blue of Everton holding a sponsor that everybody knows but there really is nothing!

Another thing which I thought the other day while watching the piss poor Asian games, was we could send the youth squad over here to take on the full Asian national sides on a pre season tour and the boys would run all over them. They have no games to play because they never qualify for anything apart from tin pot tournaments they arrange between themselves so they would love it and it would really raise our profile while the main team were doing their usual trawling of america. Which by the way I think is a waste of time now as the American league is growing and has some great players so why would they be that interested in the prem?

Our best chance ever I think (Wales that is). Gotta take 12 points from Andorra and Cyprus, 3 at home against Israel and Bosnia and you have 18 points. Should be enough for at least third place and a play off. Belgium will win it easily with us, Bosnia and Israel fighting for 2nd and 3rd.

He is a poor mans Lukaku mate. Saw him live on thursday night, even the Swansea fans say he can't trap a bag of cement. Impressed with De Guzman though, played well when he came on.

Fifth, because Spurs always fade and United are mediocre. We've played most of the tough away games, so we have the opportunity to build some momentum.
