I haven't been this pumped for a season two of a show in a long time. It was one of the most original, thrilling things I've seen.

Agree on so many levels. It was fantastic and ended on a perfect cliff hanger. Way better than I expected. I'll probably rewatch it right before season 2 comes out.

Worrying episode for Mitch McConnell earlier, hope he's OK.

Can't help but think if it happened to a Democrat Trump would be taking the piss and doing impressions.

No doubt that he would. It was pretty scary seeing McConnell like that. I don't like him at all, but it does humanize him a little bit. Seemed like he had a mini stroke. I don't think it was too long ago that he fell and hit his head also (maybe a month or two ago?).

We had a different option in Maupay last season it didn’t work, because the team was set up to play using a forward like DCL, so to get a player in the plays a similar game to DCL completely makes sense, especially as we have now got Danjuma who can offer a different option if required. But as Bailey has said we will be playing the same system and style as we did last season with Dyche. And we wouldn’t be looking for a Dom replacement as a must if Dom played a decent part of a season.

Tbf, I don't think Maupay is a great barometer for success. He should've scored at least a few goals with some of the chances he got. I agree with the last sentence though.

You all know that the club may be looking for more options to attack? I mean rather than buy a carbon copy of Dom, we may actually be looking at ways of switching up play.

Can see it now. It’s not working today with Dom up top…. Let’s bring Dom2 on and see if that works.

Or… and this may be way out there…. Let’s bring on a different option.
I don’t think any of us know what style Dyche will play.

I would be more than happy if we played the same style he did last season, but with more quality. I prefer exciting football rather than passing to sideways and backwards just to keep possession.

Exactly this. Having a DCL replica would make us too one dimensional. We need a Plan B that suits the system that Dyche wants to play but also adds something a bit different to Plan A.

No replacement for DCL and won’t suit the style of football we are looking to play with wingers getting crosses in, not one clip of him jumping for the ball or using his head once, that won’t work for us.

We really haven't seen much of DCL under Dyche, and there is a possibility he may not be in Dyche plans as far as style goes any way. I'm not saying that is the case, but I wouldn't pin everything on the way DCL plays at the moment. He's proven too unreliable with injuries the past couple of seasons. Obviously, I hope he is fit and leading the line for us.

Need something to binge, is Succession as good as it's purported to be?

    Other suggestions welcome.

I just finished Foundation and Silo on Apple+. I thought they were decent. Season 2 of Foundation just started a week or two ago.

Not really bingeworthy though, as both just have one complete season.

Magnesium is very good. Put it with zinc and b6 and that’s zma.  Get some trippy dreams on it but feel so much more refreshed. Either buy zma or zinc picolinate, magnesium glyconate, and b6 separately (which gets you more value) or search zma

I take magnesium glycinate and that helps me a lot.

I’ve seen a few comments (on Twitter) saying we never learn - this isn’t overpaying on Schneiderlin, Walcott, Sigurdsson, Bolasie, Tosun etc - it’s not even paying too much for a Delph or Williams type. This is smart business at a nominal fee - by modern day standards anyway.

Jesus. Reading some of those names just gave me Vietnam flashbacks.

  9. Berhalter back in. I don’t personally like it. Hated his team selections and thought we were boring to watch under him. The last World Cup was a failure, in my opinion. His assistants have been managing the selections for the past few months and have done better than expected, but I get the argument for keeping Berhalter, because they are/were his assistants and are following his philosophy (but have been able to tweak without him present). It just feels like a waste of time and resources. I want a progressive manager that isn’t afraid to lose.

  10. I think if our current manager says the door is open (in my own words), and they have had talks, then we have to consider he’s worth a chance. I don’t think he’s over or under-rated; he’s simply a player who has lost his way. It’s crazy to think that years ago we would be clawing for a player of his caliber. Don’t get me wrong, as I have low expectations, but let’s see what happens. Either way, we’re saddled with him for the time being, so let’s be optimistic.

Wait, I forgot this is Everton.
