Damn this is a hard one.
Garner excellent.
Onana excellent.
Docuoure, excellent at times.
Branthwaite excellent.
both Harrison and McNeil were great today.Dom was excellent.
I’m really stuck haha what a great feeling to have.
Going to go for Onana. Been critical of him recently and thought it was right to bench him. He came back in with a point to prove. And instead of trying to hard, he played with maturity. Immense and gives me confidence that he can replace Gana.
Will also hold my hands up and say Garner was great in the middle. Went looking for the ball, and his work rate was top notch.
We can say it was against a poor Bournemouth, but they were only that poor because we made them poor.

What a result.
Some excellent performances today.
All it takes sometimes is a goal to go in.
McNeil seems to be getting up to speed.
Harrison looked very good.
Garner and Onana were excellent.
DCL just made me so happy today. Worked that forward line so well.
He has t been mentioned so much today, but Branthwaite is going to be an absolute leader out there. Brilliant player.

Amazing really. Not fit but already looking a better option than iwobi
foook me im negative…. You are the goat
I think he’s been excellent today. Great feet. Linked up so well with Garner. Got balls in, took players on.
If there is more to come then I can’t fucking wait haha. -
To be fair Bailey, I agree with both you and Haf.
We haven’t been great in the middle, we’ve played with width. But I’m not sure Garner has been playing centrally. He naturally leads to the right and links up.
But he has been very good. He is never going to be a player like Gana, but we don’t want him to be. We want him on the ball passing and creating. And at that, he has been very good.
Onana is the natural Gana replacement, and he has had his best game of the season today.
But what we have saw today is balance.
Im sure if there was more play in the middle, we could change it up and add more into the middle of needed. But getting it wide has been effective… and dare I say… exciting. So let’s be happy with a good performance all. -

No you arent talking about the same passage of play. I’m at the place where young just passed it to their player. He’s done alright tbf
Think I’m a few mins behind. Had a little freeze.
McNeil clearance of the line, and then has a shot 20 seconds later. He’s looking much fitter.

I think the manager has to be given a little credit. He has realised we’re not the best when going through the middle and he’s utilised the width well today.
Garner and Harrison have linked up really well.
Effort from Garner, rasped that in.

Garner, superb again, no it’s not a duplicate post. He just broke the lines from midfield again.
That was young. Bet he’s surprised you today

Bloody hell Harrison has some great feet doesn’t he.

You must have missed his sweet spot, he’s got back up.
I had to laugh though mate… first Gana then Young haha. -
Doucs just can’t stop scoring hahaha!
Dom might not have scored, but he is having a great game. Great to see him playing like this.

This is getting scrappy. To be fair Onana is stepping up a bit this half. It’s all long hall stuff or scrappy, but he’s getting stuck in where needed.
Fuck… Haf just shot Young.

Would love to see us relax now and play some football. Stay solid for 15 then relax and play the ball around.

Been out for lunch with friends and family, been getting up dates how have we looked with Garner in the midfield.
Great finish. He’s played a pressure game so far. Getting close to them and causing them to make mistakes. They are panicking as we’re really pressuring them on the ball.
I think we’ve seen some really good play when we manage to relax and pass the ball.
They had a good spell where they were looking to get back level, but overall I think we deserve to be ahead by two.
Could have been three. -
Nearly 3. Good efforts from Dom and Onana. Really thought Onana’s was in.
Close up those holes and we’re looking ok.All we need is the midfield and defence to play a bit close together. We’ll stop them dead then.
Pressure up front is working, they don’t seem to want the ball for too long.
We’ve got to be happy surely. Are we allowed?
-
What a place by Harrison. Bloody hell… what’s going on! We’re two up?

Starting to really love Branthwaite though. Proper player.

Strange half so far. Neither team exerting any real control. Lots of loos of control and turn overs
Amazing how many times the balls been turned over. It’s like the ball is a bomb.
-
We’re battling for these balls. But he needs to get them passing the ball on the floor. These long balls aren’t really getting anywhere.
This is where Onana lacks. They are controlling the middle. Need to get a grip of this game and soon.

Its almost as though centre midfield is his best position…..
If he can make this spot his own, I’ll be happy to hold my hands up.
Just need him and Onana to play together well. -

Great goal, used the defender as a shield for keeper to see late
He waited for the keeper to make his move as well. Intelligent play.

Like Haf said above, we’ve missed four more big chances than bloody Liverpool. And look where they are.
Bit F it!!!! We’re gonna smash it today.
Im going for Garner first goal and two assists. His goal will be a 30 yard screamer. His assists will be deft little through balls through the middle. Watch this space.
I did say didn’t I!!!
-
Get the fuck in…. Garner best centre mid we got!!!!!
Great finish.
