Romey 1878
Only offering a loan deal will have shown our seriousness, or lack of, and I can't blame him for choosing Citeh.
carlmc25
skysports have been wrong plenty of times in the past, no quotes as of yet so let's wait and see. If we've signed some CM's then I don't care about SWP, he's not as good as Pienaar or Arteta anyway and Osman can do a job.
StevO
im with you mark, just shows we have no money (or we're gunna blow the lot on moutinho) proven premiership player.
Randomness
i thought they were delaying any movement in case citeh got knocked out of europe (that would be the clever thing to do anyway)

Everton_Worshiper
It was always, and always will, be extremely hard to sign anyone from Chelsea because of their wage demands. £80k a week on SWP is ridiculous and I am glad he is not signing for us. troy8
hahaha doesnt matter at all. plus its chelsea's loss, not in terms of the player, but fuck they bought him for 21 million now they sell him for 8.5 three years later.. (although the difference of 12.5 million is probably like 5 bucks for them <_< )

(although the difference of 12.5 million is probably like 5 bucks for them ) Man City can afford his £80 grand a week wages from that profit, I said he was all about the money why else would he have gone to Chelsea in the 1st place? All why didn't he not want to leave Chelsea? He didn't want to take a pay cut. I also said he wasn't worth 10 mil. I'd pay 7 max and pehaps 45 a week with a bonus for appearences. In my view thats as much as he's worth.

scouse
Would love to see him here just what we need someone with a bit of pace, cant see it happening tho out of our price league in terms of transfer fee and wages.
Bailey
On loan maybe... Would like to see him play for us first before we potentially pay a large sum on either a tranfer fee or wages.
Romey 1878
He's more likely to fall over his own little legs than put a decent cross in, i.e. no end product, so what's the bloody point? No from me.
scouse
He is more of a box attacking winger than get to the corner and cross it in, if that is what you are looking for there is always Beckham
Romey 1878
He is more of a box attacking winger than get to the corner and cross it in, if that is what you are looking for there is always Beckham Very good *claps* Beckham needs a zimmer frame to get anywhere near the touchline, maybe he could borrow Mikel's. Whether SWP is attacking the box or getting to the corner to cross he still has fuck all end product. chicagoblue
I'd certainly be interested in a loan move, especially if Donovan is going to take a rest. We need something and competition for places can't hurt.
