Oasis? SteveO I am shocked and dismayed. I always looked up to you as a hero.

And you choose Oasis?

My life has fallen apart.......... Or maybe I just have wind. :P

early oasis mate, they were awesome! after they got rich they had nothing to talk about, and it showed!

They'd all be pretty useless without somthing to play them on :P aha!

Not at all....as long as you wisely select the vinyl versions you would have five servicable frisbees :) .

Off the top of my head...

Mott the Hoople....All the Young Dudes

Mike Oldfield....Ommadawn

REM....Automatic for the People

Steve Hackett....Voyage of the Acolyte (or possibly Mirage by Camel)

(And just to prove I'm not dead yet something a bit recent) Safetysuit....Life Left to Go

Black Lace would be number six B) .

taking your own album?

B)

Have history with Ommadawn. Back in my previous life when I was either working 24 hours a day or over-indulging one way or another it was the only thing that could get me relaxed enough to sleep.

Still calms me down when I need it :) .

Bill Hicks - Arizona Bay (combination of his music and comedy .. Great album).

Johnny Cash - American IV: The Man Comes Around.

Nick Cave - Let Love In.

The Doors - The Doors.

Depeche Mode - Violator.

I thought about this way too long :) .

Love Nick Cave but you need to be in the mood so he'd not make my top five. I'm a bit of a rebel with the Doors, my favourite album is "Other Voices" which was the first one recorded after Morrison's death. Sacreligious for most people.

I've just realised I didn't take any Neil Young :o . Turn the boat round!

Oh christ how could i miss out Neil as well. But what to choose? Harvest? After The Gold Rush? the possibilities are close to endless.....

I think you are all liars and trying to act cool. I know for a fact you'd also take a cheesy album and hide it in the event you were found.

You could be right Louis, So i'm only going to take the ones that i like listening to, and which give me a lot of pleasure.

Beatles ......................... White album

Beatles ......................... Ballads

Dire Straits .................... Sultans of swing

Mike and the Mechanics.. The living years

Traveling Wilburys .......... Traveling Wilburys

For any of our younger members who might be saying to themselves who the fook are the Travelling Wilburys, I can show you a pic of arguably the best ever group who have ever performed.

Every one of them was a top class musician in their own right, they made two albums which now go for silly money. The end came when vocalist Roy Orbison died
