MikeO
Besic and Lukaku both starting in Bosnia v Belgium tonight; worth a watch I think. Linesman's broken his flag . First time I've seen that!
Cornish Steve
Am predicting Iceland to win tonight over Holland. Iceland are seriously underrated (almost made it to the WC), while the Dutch are overrated (and didn't deserve to progress so far in the WC). Cornish Steve
Hey - if I can make predictions after knowing a score, I'm rooting right now for Wales!
markjazzbassist
bosnia up 1-0. besic is in beast mode again. all over the place defending and pushing forward in attack.

markjazzbassist
I'm impressed by bosnia. they get the ball back quickly when they lose it, or at least try. love the press.
gethinO
Great win for Wales considering we were down to 10 men after 47 mins. Good start , 7 points out of 9. Decent. Iceland great win again. However we did beat them 3-1 a few months back so you know..... ?
Romey 1878
1-1. Pathetic effort from Begovic. What you talking about, he doesn't make mistakes! :shaking fist: . Sibdane and Matt
MikeO
What you talking about, he doesn't make mistakes! :shaking fist: . If Tim had done that for Everton I'd be tempted to join the witch hunt.
Hafnia
If Tim had done that for Everton I'd be tempted to join the witch hunt. Keeper makes mistake and other team scores as a result shocker. Stoke should release him on a free and he can fight with T-How for the spot of "chief mistake maker". Wasn't Peter Bonetti a great shot stopper??? Oh no, he made a mistake against West Germany. I will do my best to scout a keeper that doesn't make mistakes - the problem is even Neville Southall made the odd blooper, not many but the odd one. Lowensda
Difference is, Begovic makes them once every 10/12 games. Howard's mistakes are every game. Costing us goals.
Hafnia
Difference is, Begovic makes them once every 10/12 games. Howard's mistakes are every game. Costing us goals. Difference is - none of us really watch Stoke so we wouldn't really know. If you listened to United fans a year or so ago De Gea was useless and now he's ace, if you listened to Liverpool fans last year Mignolet was awesome and now he's pants. With goalies the grass always appears greener. Sibdane, Matt and Romey 1878
MikeO
Incidentally Willand have been drawn at home to Gosport Borough or Maidenhead United in the final qualifying round of the cup; both Conference South teams so just the three steps difference in the pyramid rather than the four that getting one of the "Conference big guns" down here would have been . http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29611298 DJ Campbell's currently playing for Maidenhead, be interesting to see him down here,

MikeO
Scotland behind in Poland (but as Poland is pretty much part of Britain now it's a home nation win either way ) and Northern Ireland ahead in Greece! Given Greece haven't scored since Aristotle played up front for them they should be on for a win. Sorry, my mistake, it was Socrates who scored from an Archimedes assist. Aristotle played sweeper. MikeO
He's shite apparently. BBC. James Morrison whips in a wonderful free-kick and Steven Naismith feathers the ball home from close range with the delicate touch of an artist at his easel. MikeO
NI two up and looking like they're going to have a 100% start with two tricky away games gone. Think Romania will win the group but they've given themselves a great chance of qualifying; remarkable if you look at the lack of top players in the squad. MikeO
Serbia/Albania abandoned due to "....a disturbance on the pitch". Apparently an Albanian flag got thrown on the pitch and a Serbian player picked it up to (presumably) throw it off and all hell broke loose. Not entirely unpredictable.
