badaids Posted September 30, 2023 Report Share Posted September 30, 2023 For me it’s not set up - we are all over them if we attack. We created chances with every attack. It looked like the tactic was to go hard first 15 get a goal and then sit back and recover. We didn’t score and they overran us. Rather than attack again we continued to try and soak up and we’re two goals down. We aren't playing badly at all, we have just royally fucked up from set pieces and the biggest culprit is Mykolenko. He started the game quite well though and has been helpful to McNeil in giving him space to play. I am worried about width as McNeil and Garner are playing very narrowly but our best moments are going through them. I can see us creating enough chances to be level by 60mins. If we arent then we must get genuine width onto the pitch. Gueye is important at sweeping up but Onana has a lot more to his game to take over that role and let Garner play more centrally.
