It's ok the players saying we need the atmosphere of the derby again, but the players need to put in the performance. We are 2nd to just about everything. Look way off pace. Attempted tackles are just lazy legs being stuck out. The performance so far looks tired, timid, low on confidence. So so poor. Miracle we got through the first 10 minutes without conceding, the way we stand off is unbelievable and our defence is absolutely crying out for a leader. We also need to sacrifice one of the forwards and find 3 genuine all rounders in midfield. I wouldn't be taking up the option on Gomes. Bailey Posted March 17, 2019 Report Share Posted March 17, 2019 This is no different to Allardyce last season. No-one has played well bar Pickford. DCL has put in a shift but that's it. Everything is so easy for Chelsea. No-one gives a shit. Apart from lighting a rocket up their arses I would make a tactical change because this mess isnt working. I would stick Richarlison on the bench and bring in Schneiderlin. Push Siggy into the inside right position (Alonso isnt going to cause him too many problems and he can match him physically) and then put Gomes as the box to box midfielder on the left side of a central three. Our right side has time and space to play so we need to get some quality on the ball, plus we will be able to match them in midfield, even outnumber them, and play through the lines a bit more.
