MikeO
You think he wanted to sell Mikel ? Not a chance Course he didn't...but he knows the situation at the club, knows that every player has his price, and has agreed it's the right thing to do. HalewoodBlue
what do you base that on? Only my opinion mate, i honestly dont believe he would have sold our creative player this late without some twisting of his arms
Wall Writer
If (I mean 'IF'), he was sold without Moyes' OK, which I doubt, then I would fear that Moyes would leave. However, I think he's OK'd it. EDIT: ...reluctantly Edited August 31, 2011 by wallwriter

Avinalaff
Lads, a player like Arteta won't have been sold in a last minute rush. Long before Wenger sold Fabregas, he will have approached Moyes regarding Arteta. Wenger is not stupid. Moyes is not stupid. Both will have a plan B. We've seen Wengers. Now we will see Moyes'. marcus jones
Surely DM has a plan in case of player X,Y or Z leaves? If not then poor planning on his part I say. And I admire Moyes so its hard for me to say so.

Hafnia
I know being a fan of this club would have you believe otherwise, but it is the premierleague, not panini 1989 football stickers. Moyes would be the authority for this sale no doubt whatsoever. His one trait is stubbornness, he would not stand for a player being sold behind his back and could fight the case of constructive dismissal. codders78
SkyBet slashed his odds to 10/1 to be the next manager to go. He wont be but he might be more interested should another job come available. Moyes wouldnt have wanted Arteta to go Im sure but was the deal not off until Arteta forced the issue himself? duncanmckenzieismagic
Redknapp will get the England job in the summer and Moyes will jump at the chance to manage a big club like that
codders78
England are backing away from Redknapp arent they, given his financial misdemeanours? Are Spurs any bigger than us? They may be able to offer money he doesnt get here but they arent a big club compared to us.

Hafnia
What constitutes a bigger club? Tell me history and i'll show you Notts Forest, tell me money i'll show you QPR, tell me fan base i'll show you Newcastle. Tell me transfer activity and i'll show you Stoke.
