Fearthainn got a reaction from pete0 in Real Madrid
I'll be honest I thought Kev looked for the penalty there.

Fearthainn got a reaction from Sibdane in Real Madrid
Quite scary looking at that Real Madrid lineup at first but then I remember Naismith is playing so it's them who have to fear us.

Fearthainn reacted to Lowensda in "Secret Referee": PL Referees are told to treat big names differently
Not surprised but it's disgusting.
Explains how Gerrard was always able to stay on the pitch, even with some horrors.

Fearthainn reacted to Louis in Everton-themed trains in New York City
As NBC bought the broadcast rights for the Premier League for a record fee, they are marketing the league like crazy at the moment.
There have been advertising hoardings in the city centre and NBC recently announced a marketing relationship with MTA. There is an Everton-themed train doing the rounds as we speak.

Fearthainn reacted to StevO in Clint Dempsey
A year or two ago, not now unless he was free and didn't want wages.

Fearthainn reacted to Sibdane in Joey Barton
Yeah, Barton is definitely a pseudo-intellectual if there ever was one.
Thinks waaaaay too highly of himself.
-
Fearthainn reacted to Finn balor in Joey Barton
I think going off Barton's agent that the conversation he has had with Roberto is that they "like" him as footballer. They may have just been polite in saying that to McKay rather than saying he is a piece of shit as a professional and a human being. My opinion is that I think as Blues we get a bit misty eyed when one of our own decrees the love for the club as we put ourselves in that position and let our hearts do the thinking and think yeah give him a go.
I think you can break the Barton dilemma in two parts.
1. Player - Average. Decent engine fair enough but he hasn't got good pace, his passing is again decent. Doesn't score many goals and frankly doesn't do anything outstanding.
2. Person - Im not going to get into the stuff that has already been put on this thread but the thing that annoys me about him is that he seems to think he is some sort of intellectual now. If that was the case and he has stated he wants a quiet life etc when he was in France why keep yourself in the public domain with tweets that have nothing to do with him and thus contracting himself?
The lad has a highly inflated opinion of himself and it just doesn't add up.
To finish my biggest post ever ha ha I don't think Martinez will want to upset the dressing room or even risk what he has got as he will have a lot of experienced pros's that wont give Barton an inch and too many youngsters now ingrained in the squad that maybe be influenced by his petulance and wideboy manner

Fearthainn reacted to nottsblue in Joey Barton
He's a disruptive influence, a toxic brand & a quality scumbag, he has no place at Everton, I can't believe our manager or owner would ever contemplate bringing him here.

Fearthainn reacted to scouse in Anderson
Agree with this logic, he has shown glimpses for being a good player but is very injury prone.
-
Fearthainn reacted to Peter H in Anderson
Gibson was not the fittest most played bloke in the world and he looks like a potential captain now.
Theres obviously something there, man u payed 20 mil for him 6 years ago. He is only 25, if he gets regular matches he will still be worth more than 7 mil in a couple of years time. Sell him on then, get the money back.
-
Fearthainn reacted to Peter H in Anderson
Makes sense at 7 mil in my opinion. Much more so than signing Barton for free

Fearthainn reacted to Sibdane in Gary Medel
Would absolutely love to have in the team. I've always admired his play.

Fearthainn reacted to Bailey in Rovers vs Everton
The best thing for me is seeing how confident they all look, especially the younger ones. Barkley looked like he was ready to take on the world and if he cocked up he got straight back up and went again.

Fearthainn reacted to Romey 1878 in Rovers vs Everton
Well, I'm excited.
Do not burst my bubble, blues!

I know it's only pre-season, but I'm just in a really good mood right now.

Fearthainn reacted to Avinalaff in Rovers vs Everton
Can you believe the lack of interest from Blackburn fans?
A big Prem club at home and they can't be arsed to turn up, yet 'our' fans travel to their empty stadium in masses. Our away fans are proper fans.

What's funny about this whole saga is that most of us saw this coming a long, long time ago. The kopites never learn and are once again showing the world their true colours.

Fearthainn reacted to StevO in What market are we shopping in?
Probably home and bargain. You can get cadburys chocolate fingers, just like you can in tesco. Only they are a week closer to their sell by date, so they cost half the price.
But we get our fruit from the market, because it is fresh and has less pesticides than the fruit at the adsa.
I'm lost in my own metaphors, but I'm about the have a pepperoni pizza I got at tesco.
