  1. "....inviting applications to an additional ballot from any supporter who has been to at least one competitive game at Goodison during 2008/09." Still a possibilty . (The "Beamback" application is up and running on the OS now)
  2. Think Mark's spot on, though I think the goal should be Ossie's at Macclesfield.
  3. And if there was there's a queue....join at the back in an orderly fashion please . Anyone tried to get a Goodison ticket btw? I've been trying all morning because supposedly you can apply from today but the link won't work .
  4. You registered in July 2005! Been looking around for a long bit ! I'm registered on Kipper but I've not posted.
  5. Think it's normally considered polite to go through site admin if you want to come on (as a non member who may or may not be an Evertonian) and start selling stuff. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm not aware of you having done so. As it is people will come to their own conclusions about you . Not for me thanks.
  6. Oooh....aren't you the clever one! I suggest as your prize....not a badge....but half a pound of finest blue sausages ! http://www.rsssf.com/tablesm/mandela.html#07
  7. That's women's tennis isn't it ?
  8. A. Good grief. Us and Villa are already in the Europa League. Seventh will get in also.
  9. As far as I can see thay've never faced each other at club or international level (not in a final anyway, friendlies possibly) . Tricky.
  10. We lack the depth and consistancy as we are at the moment. Given another 4/5 decent quality players and luck with injuries we could challenge top four. Given another world class midfielder, possibly a right back, first round knock-outs in all the cups and zero injuries we could even win the thing....or at least finish second to ManU.
  11. His first year was just a loan deal so his three years doesn't run out until summer 2011. Point taken though, if his form continues the way it's been going he needs tying up long before next summer . Sure he will be.
  12. The draws have not been kind to us on the last three occasions for sure, even the Kharkiv game was a tough one. Hopefully we'll fare better this time .
  13. Are you taking the higher papers in English Josh ? Good luck anyway .

    Fulham (away)

No....we're only one point ahead of Villa. It's about £500,000 a place I think.
  15. Unlucky today, denied a blatant pen at 1-0, could have changed it round for you .
  16. Apparently Joleon's in talks with Villa because his contract talks at Everton are on hold (Vital Aston Villa LINK has it on good authority). But as he signed a new one running to 2012 last year the big question would have to be, "What contract talks?"
  17. That only happened in Dark's parallel universe .
  18. Widening this out a bit to other sporting achievment... I played table tennis at a pretty high level as a kid and into my twenties, won a fair amount of stuff but the most satisfying was at the National student championships in about 1980. Was at North East London College in Tottenham and the favourite was a local lad who the whole college had turned out to cheer to inevitable victory. He was a very flash and impressive looking attacking player and my game was always based on control....basically making the other guy miss rather than smashing it past him. Played him in the quarter final and completely demolished him, don't remember the score but it was brutal and the crowd getting slowly quieter before descending into silence was very satisfying . Sadly I lost the semi but won 3rd/4th so got the bronze. Bronze in the doubles also. Happy days.
  19. So what happens now? A two legged play-off or a single match?
  20. They're only "unsung" by those without the wit to look outside the top four. Anyone who knows anything about football knows all about Everton's players this season (and the rest of that eleven). Actually find it a bit patronising of Cascarino to suggest that he, in his wisdom, has noticed them while no-one else has.
  21. Yobo, Yak and Vic are Nigerians though dark, and the article is about South Africans...you need to pay more attention in geography . Personally I'm amazed that there have been as many as four previously....I can't think of any . Edit: Found this..."After World War Two, a flurry of South African footballers left to play in England, almost all of them white, who were members of the racially-segregated national side." "Bill Perry played for England and scored the winning goal in the famous 'Matthews' FA Cup final of 1953 when Blackpool came from behind to beat Bolton Wanderers 4-3." So that's one. "South African Albert Johanneson was the first black player to play in a FA Cup final for Leeds United in 1965." Two.
  22. In about 2023 hopefully (unless Spurs get relegated themselves before then) .
  23. I'm dipping into it....I'll watch the scoring as I always do....far and away the best bit . The Russian entry caused me actual physical pain a while back :weird: . Graham Norton is a poor substitute for Wogan sadly. Norway are red hot favourites to win....which is kind of odd .
  24. I would have done if I had one, but if I had then I'd be waiting for my Wembley allocation rather than trying to book a seat at Goodison .
  25. Newcastle fans leaving in their droves before the end of the Fulham game. Unbelievable.
