We should be looking to get into the Europa, a top 6 finish and a good cup run maybe even a win is what we should be aiming for.
Unfortunately I don’t see Carlo settling for a 7th place finish. I think he’d walk if that was the case

I think he’s a great player very direct.
Hes far from a finished article though. When the ball goes into him I always feel it’s 50/50 whether he’s going to give the ball away.

Team was so balanced yesterday. Do we really want him in that side?

Stunned by the quality of his play and the way he was able to fit into the team so effortlessly.
So much joy watching him in this team, genuinely counting down to the next match.
Effortless, he’s 2/3 steps ahead no doubt if he stays fit he’ll be double figures in assists

Every time he got the ball looked to create. WOW

Delph "covered" at City because he was left footed... that was it. Mendy was injured, Zinchenko was an attacking midfielder and in and out with injuries, Laporte is a centre back but still covered left back in the big games, Fernandino I think played there two albeit being right footed and I am pretty sure they played a right footer in the role but I can't remember who? I think it was the Brazillian lad from Madrid?
I would bet a fairly sizeable wage that had Delph been right footed he wouldn't have played at all in the league for City that season.
Plus I will also add that when he did play LB he made pretty big mistakes far too regularly.
It would be a huge gamble to think Delph, when fit, could cover anything other than a defensive centre midfield role adequately.
Never the less.
Delph played 44 games in two seasons for City under Guardiola and won the title those two seasons on the bounce . At left back under Guardiola he had his most successful seasons .
Whilst as I’ve stated I’m not a fan on his he is an option at left back. Better than we currently have

Find a glue factory willing to take Delph and this transfer window is a winner.
Thing with Delph is he can play left back too (as cover). Don’t get me wrong I think he’s a poor, but as a backup left back he may do for another season. I can’t see us signing a LB over a RB.

Hard worker, but not enough quality in his game to be a regular at the top of the premier league

Walcott already? He’s only been back one game after having surgery. Bit harsh that.
His whole Everton career has been poor. Not harsh at all

Pickford
Walcott
Sigurdsson
Davies
Iwobi
Are stinking the gaf out atm.
DCL also looking more and more of his usual donkey self after a great period of goalscoring. Is he a long term answer? NO

To be honest Bailey you would have to be Paul Daniels to get a game out of most of them, no matter who’s pulling the strings or how much we spend, we are not improving, I was never one for superstition but this is changing my mind, we are paying the price for something evil , is Moshiri’s money tainted I don’t know, but something or someone is conspiring against us, we haven’t been able to do a thing right in the last 4 years.
We need a Priest for some Devine inspiration and to lift the curse.Lay of the drugs pal.
The issue has been poor signings at inflated prices. It’s that simple.

He’s better than Sigurdsson and Davies so there’s not really any argument against him playing atm
