    Indeed he does.
You're absolutely right, can't ever disagree with a coaching decision...  Gana must have always been the right choice and not a liability then?
Sarcasm aside, think you mistook my point.  Wasn't a shot at Walcott (although, admittedly not a fan), but a call for a talented kid.  Would have felt same if it was Bernard coming on.

Only complaint so far.  Why waste the sub on Walcott!?!? Great opportunity for Gordon.

Think Richy looked every bit as surly today and against West Brom (while putting in great shifts).
To me it seems to be representative of players that aren't satisfied with performances (Kean) or outcome (Richy), not necessarily just "sulking".  Even Gordon with him being desperate to score.  Last week Kean knew he wasn't playing well and the penalty was a gift, from someone else's good work.  Again tonight, he finished off a smart move from Digne and Nkounkou.  It was a clean enough finish, but pretty much his only decent involvement.
With Carlo and the new arrivals, the pressure has ramped up and there's more of an attitude that near enough isn't good enough.

Purely for confidence, I'd take off DCL now to save his legs and bring on Moise Kean. The game "should" be over now, so getting him a goal would be a massive boost to him.
Edit: DCL off for Iwobi, hehhhhh

Am I the only one that thought, outside the last 20 minutes and a nice ball for the first assist, Gylfi was fairly poor today? The whole midfield 3 were.  Just far too negative when getting on the ball out of the back and then anywhere through the middle.  All the industry was via the CBs or down the wings.
Keane, Nkounkou, or Gordon best for mine.

On the subject of the Salford game, I would rotate in the sense that I'd like the main bulk of the side rested for West Brom, purely because any side that we put out should be capable of beating a team from League Two.
I've kept Pickford in goal, simply because I think that our main goalkeeper should be capable of playing 40+ games a season and from what little game time Virginia saw with Reading he didn't paint a fantastic picture of himself. Keane stays in order to have some continuity in the centre-back position with Kenny coming in for Coleman and Nkounkou swapping in for Digne. I assume that Salford will be lumping the ball into the box any chance they get, so tall defenders are key IMO plus I'd like to see Branthwaite again.
All of the new signings get a break with Bernard, Davies, Sigurdsson and Walcott completing the middle line. I've also got Anthony Gordon operating as the No.10 (who could rotate with Gylfi if need be) to break down the lines. DCL gets a break in preperation for West Brom with Moise Kean coming into the side, hopefully a goal against weaker opposition does him the world of good and allows us to genuinely use him as a second option in the Premier League.

All of the above said I would still name a strong bench in the event that the worst happens. Players aren't going to get tired sat on the sidelines so I'd be picking James, Allan, DCL to come onto the pitch if need be and kill the game. I'll be honest I'm not that desperate for a 5/6-0 and would much rather we put in a really confident, calm performance and take the win 2-0 without leaving first gear.

Agree with the change sentiment, would go as much change as possible.  Given who's been pushed to the bench and kids coming through, we have to trust we've got the quality and they've got the bottle to go out and win this.  We also need to know that players are ready to step in when needed.

Absolutely needs to be rotation players in there. If Iwobi, Kean, Kenny, Gordon etc.. can’t win that game we are in trouble. Gotta trust those guys and give the starting 11, particularly the new additions, a rest.

“Why does everything take so long. Everton are muppets, always getting skinned in deals and leaving it to the last minute. Have to sell to buy. What’s Brands doing.” Yadda fucking yadda.

£70m on 3 excellent signings in the areas we needed within a week and before the season starts. Pipe the fuck down, whiners.

Got 48 minutes for Italy, against Netherlands overnight.  Looked to have a few chances and should have scored at the death (skied over open goal after beating keeper to a lose ball).  Still needs to put it altogether, but promising to get decent national team time.

Plenty of decent targets in the 20 - 25 range.

He was probably in my favourite from that Monaco side.  Can't see the price being low enough, unfortunately.

i loved that monaco side with him in it, i watched some of their matches and he was really nice for them.  was sold for 63m pounds and hasn't been great in la liga.  now this could be because he's not that good, or maybe simeone's style doesn't suit him, holding a 1-0 lead for 60 minutes defending for your life isn't for everyone   @StevO will be happy, HE IS LEFT FOOTED!  lol  obviously not paying 63m, but on a cut rate deal or loan to buy i'd be interested.  gotta be less than 30m though.

An aspect missing from far too many of our players.  Was good to see his frustration, after he'd made space and provided a central-fwd target, when he was ignored/missed by Gomes going backwards.
