  1. I agree with your sentiment, my side is theres no need to play everyone every game and protect the squad, it seems that lower division players can be clumsier and throw in bad tackles resulting in injury, Salford seemed to be targeting Gordon last night, without and success thankfully.
  2. He’s been very solid so far, we’ve got to be happy with that, and also with any player who improves regardless of the starting point, too many seem to have gone backwards or failed to live up to expectations.
  3. Wonder if he could play at CB also, his physical attributes seem better suited for that that Digne. Very impressed with his performance last night
  4. Niels, exciting to watch, strong, positive and good feet. Gordon improved as the game went on, Keane solid and held the team together at the back.
  5. Poor 1st half IMO against 4th tier team. Main thing for me is Jarrads injury, although non contact and bad news for him, is why we should give the new signings a rest after so little pre season, to lose one of them so early in a game would be awful where squad rotation should be easily enough to win. Need a 2nd to ease the pressure
  6. doesn’t seem to say what happens with family’s with multiple tickets, we’ve two together, if one gets drawn would the other be associated with it .?
  7. Absolutely, I’ve found it interesting how the meeeja still sees us in a lesser light, did they really think Carlo was here to work with that calibre of player, and I still think we will see a couple more additions before the window closes.
  8. Seems fair to rub a ballot to make sure every possible seat is used, best we can hope for this season I reckon.
  9. This has landed in my inbox As we embark on a new Premier League season, we are keen to both thank you for your continued support of the Club as a valued Season Ticket Member and also provide an update in relation to the plans we have for the new campaign as we contend with the ongoing challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The new campaign has commenced with fixtures once again having to be played behind closed doors in order to combat the pandemic and minimise the risk of its spread. This means that there will be Premier League games played that you will be unable to attend. With this in mind, and in keeping with the process implemented at the end of the 2019/20 campaign, a pro-rata refund will be available to you for every league fixture you do not attend. Refunds will be processed to Season Ticket Members in three instalments during the 2020/21 season – in November 2020, February 2021 and June 2021. Refunds issued in November will include all league fixtures a Season Ticket Member has not attended up to 31 October. February’s refund covers Premier League matches after 1 November and up to 31 January while June’s deadline ensures you will be refunded for any top-flight games missed between 1 February and the scheduled end of the Premier League season in May. There remains no confirmed date for the phased return of fans into stadiums. We can assure you, however, that ensuring our valued Season Ticket Members can safely experience a matchday at Goodison once again is a priority. With that in mind, we have been working diligently to develop a thorough and robust plan that will ensure there is a fair process in place for the allocation of tickets for you - and all Season Ticket Members - when fans are permitted to return to stadiums once again. An allocation process will be necessary as there will be a restricted capacity in the stadium in order to comply with social distancing and safety regulations. This reduction will be due to Government guidelines, Premier League directives, guidance from the Sports Ground Safety Authority and the Club’s own priority to ensure appropriate safety measures are in place to protect those fans who do attend each fixture. Over the coming weeks – and as there is greater clarity relating to the return of fans to stadiums - the Club will be sharing further information with you to explain the ballot process for ticket allocation for fixtures. This ballot process will provide fair and equitable access to the limited tickets available for each fixture and will be structured to ensure a fair distribution of tickets across all league fixtures at which fan attendance will be possible. This process will also ensure family and friend groups will not be split up when allocated tickets for fixtures. The plan being developed by the Club is based on consultation with various fan groups. Season Ticket Members will be required to opt-in to each ballot for each available fixture. This will ensure each match ballot will made up only of Season Ticket Members able and willing to attend that specific fixture. Each ballot will only be open to 2020/21 Season Ticket Members and there will be no match-by-match ticket sales for fixtures whilst there is a reduced capacity at Goodison Park. In preparation for this process - and to help ensure Season Ticket Members can attend matches with their friends and family - the Club is asking all fans to review and update, if necessary, their personal details and contact information. It is vital that you have a valid address registered with the Club to enter the ballot and receive tickets. It is also important this information is up to date, as it will enable the Club to fulfil the requirements of the Government’s Track and Trace system when fans are permitted into stadiums once again. For any fixtures you do not attend, a pro-rata refund will be processed at the designated point in the season, as referenced above. For further information relating to the refund process and other Frequently Asked Questions on ticketing, please click here. Once again, thank you for your ongoing support and for your understanding and patience during this challenging period. COYB,Everton Football Club
  10. Agree 100% with both, seems clear to me that the pundits still don’t want to give us any credit when we beat a supposedly higher team, same as when we thumped Man U at Goodison season before last.
  11. I was most impressed by the fact that he didn’t let his head drop after the first miss, he kept going all game and didn’t hide, big signs of improvement IMO
  12. That’s a long time and he will be missed, he’s one of the first on the team sheet for me.
  13. Thought he was out injured with thigh stain yesterday, but PX with Zaha would be a good move for us.
  14. Best game he had for us in a long time, seems to have got his head together over the summer, two very good and vital stops, and better control of his area than we’ve seen. Kicking still hit and miss though.
  15. Pickford, made two vital stops I the first half and took control of his area with good punches in the second. Good all round performance with no one stinking the place out like last season.
  16. Significant improvement in the pace and way were playing, passes going forward rather than across all game, for the first 45 mins for a new midfield playing together I’m happy.
  17. 1) Player of the season Dacoure 2) Young player of the season DCL 3) Top Scorer Richarlison 4) Most assists James 5) Surprise Player JJK 6) Final league position 6th
  18. Mike, I’ve just found this thread after seeing your MOM post yesterday. So sorry to read what you’ve been through over the past few weeks, it’s very brave to write such personal stuff, I hope it helps you in coming to terms. From my own experiences of losing loved ones I found it very helpful to talk to others, I’m sure the TT community will continue to support you as much as we can. Best wishes and stay strong. Geoff
  19. Players plus sub £20m and I’d be OK with him, we would need to see how he is when he’s not the main focus of a team, he didn’t cut the mustard when he was at MU, if it doesn’t work we would get our money back and will have removed some of the excess players
  20. MIke, hope it’s not too serious and all goes well for you. Im happy to put poll up if it’s simple as starting a post.
  21. I’ve always rated and liked him, he’s always been a thorn in our side, I think he will become a crowd favourite if he does the sort of stuff the video shows.
