Wiggytop got a reaction from Bailey in Sean Dyche
He is trying to take the attention away from individual players and focus on the squad as a whole. There’s more than enough shit being written and spoken about us, for the manager to do the same in a press conference would be stupid.

Exactly this. Which is why there is so much furore with the board about the January debacle.
their response "we tried"...well I'm sorry you don't get points for trying in this league. We needed a solution and you failed to come up with one so you need to be accountable.

Wiggytop reacted to Shukes in Jarrad Branthwaite
To be fair to Branthwaite, I think he has always shown that he is one of the younger players that has a real chance.
He has actually had some good cameos for us and always looked decent.
Yes he had a few hiccups on the way, but he hasn’t ever looked out of place.

No that isn't what I said at all.
Buying the wrong players has led us to this position and buying more of them wont help. Surely you can see that?
I'd love the club to buy lots of the right players in the right positions as soon as possible.

Wiggytop reacted to Matt in Ifs, buts and Maybes
I never expect anything from the derby, least of all at that shed. Even if we'd played brilliantly something would've been disallowed etc. Chalk it off and move on, plenty more games to go.

Wiggytop reacted to Bailey in Liverpool away (Feb 13)
The less said about that one the better. I expected that type of performance against Arsenal not Liverpool.
Individually our back four and keeper were a shambles. The decision making from Pickford/Myko and Coady for both goals was incredible. Their midfield, which has been a weakness, completely dominated ours.
Fair play to them, they turned up today and beat us convincingly. Its done now, forget about it and move on to a much more favourable run of games.

Before these two games we'd all have taken three points from them in a heartbeat.

Wiggytop reacted to Sir McGiven in Liverpool away (Feb 13)
isn't it the very first EPL game of his with us? What is the expectation from the first game which is on away ground on a derby day? I mean, he can be shite eventually I dunno but this comment is a bit harsh IMO.

Being the optimist I’m hoping that it’s clever editing, he’s trained and fit to play, and we’re messing with their heads 🤞

I’ve kept out of this in the main, other than doing the pre game protests and sit in after Southampton until now.
The owner and the board have failed in their duties without doubt.
But do we really know who we were interested in and taking to other than Danjuma?
Aubamayang is being touted on another thread, with reports by press included, that he can’t play for another team this season shows how they just throw names out, and we get suckered in to thinking it’s going to happen.
If and when Thelwall comes out and says I was after XYZ players, and they didn’t want to come because we were toxic, that’s the time to get pissed off with it, not now with easy press talk IMO.

It’s right, but it’s still Garth Crooks, does anyone really care about anything he says, as most is crap.

Wiggytop reacted to Btay in Seamus Coleman
His best performance in a long time. Put a great cross in for Dom that probably should have been a goal as well.
When you need to instil desire, fight & passion into a team - you play Coleman. I’ve said it before but I have so much respect for him, in a time where a majority of footballers are precious wankers, he is a stand up bloke.

Wiggytop got a reaction from Bailey in Sean Dyche
True, but like most of our wins against the top 6, it’s always that they had an off day, it’s never that we were the better team.

Wiggytop reacted to Fosse Captain in Sean Dyche
We got the ball in attacking areas and were always looking to get it in the box.
We made the Arsenal defenders have to defend. That brought corners, which creates pressure.
I thought we were fantastic all game. Simple and structured. 4-5-1. Hard work, passion and desire.
Probably deserved to win by a coupe of goals.

Wiggytop got a reaction from Fosse Captain in Dwight McNeil
Today we saw the player I hoped we had bought. He did more in the first 20 mins today than in the previous 20 games.
