Can’t ask for more from a first half away from home, particularly with the line up changes which easily could have messed up the balance, which Dyche seems to have right, players are moving about depending on which way play is going making it very difficult for Burnley to make any inroads. We’ve played 4 games since the points deduction was applied, I don’t think anyone predicted or even hoped we would be 4 points above the drop zone in such a short space of games.
Theres no way we would have done the same 12 months ago, and while the football is a bit hoof ball at times, which is necessary and a safety first approach, we are also playing some really nice stuff. I hope Dyche can keep the momentum and the players stay fit or don’t burn out. As things stand he must be the front runner for manager of the month.

I hope that he can forge his way ahead, Danjuma has done little to impress me so far, granted little chance, but it seems the same wherever he goes, and given our financial restrictions, Lewis could be ideal, not to mention a home grown talent, which the Goodison faithful love.
