Did i miss something last night, donkey McGuire goes home sick, swollen fetlock, Stones goes off after 10 mins, so Dunk and Gomez play at CB, and the best young English CB does not get a single minute, in either friendly .
I do hope utd or the red shite appoint Southgate as there next manager, what a twat.

The three learned people in the Forest Commisson couldn't figure out why Everton actually got 6 points. Paragraph 14.15 is extracted below.

14.15 In the case at hand, the Commission considered whether there were any additional factors that should be taken into account - the “unique” position and/or the reasons for the excess. The conclusion was that these did not (nor were they mitigating factors, see above) and the only factor driving Forest up the scale will be the size of the breach. It was bigger than Everton’s, but both were in the “significant” breach band. However, there was no additional consideration around incorrect information being provided to the Premier League, as Everton had. The Commission does not know how the three extra points were arrived at by the Appeal Board for Everton, but some part of those three points must relate to the provision of incorrect information. Forest’s breach (not its losses, the Commission is concerned with the breach of the PSR Threshold) was larger than Everton’s and as a result, that alone slides it up the scale by three further points to a starting point of six points"
What is very frustration is that 'incorrect infomation' (or being 'less than frank' as was the term used in Evertons hearings) refers to our original hearing only - for which we where given 10 points (not 6 points).
However, in our appeal the hearing found that Everton's original hearing was wrong to say Everton had been 'less than frank' and our claim on this was upheld in the appeal. So we got some of the 10 points back, helping to bring our punishment down to 6 point from the original 10. Not up from 3 to 6.
Another frustration is that a £19.5m and £34.5m are somehow classed in the very same bracket of ' a significant' breach. Convinient!
I went on a few Forest fan forums yesterday, although they are pissed off at having point taken off them, pretty much all of they saying they through it would be more points taken off them, and the club should just take the 4 and do without the shadow of an appeal hanging over the fans, club and players for the rest og their games, maybe to possibley get 1 point back.  A fucking luxury Everton have not had for four months as we had massive 10 points deduction around our neck for the best part of this season, so had no choice but to go through the internal stress of an appeal (and turns out justifibly so).
Forest have dodged a bullet in my eyes and Everton have had the shitty end of the stick.

Something else that absolutely boils my piss about this is that the ruling clearly states that Forest knew they were in trouble in terms of FFP and then still went and spunked a shit load of money bringing in even more players.
So to then get points knocked off the deduction for cooperation and being up front (things that we were told in our appeal couldn't be used to reduce the points deduction) is fucking ludicrous.
Basically, they knowingly caused this clusterfuck for the club but them telling the panel they knew we were going to do it means it's all ok.
Everton should be all over this shite and threatening all sorts.
I mean, by the sounds of it Forest's panel think that our punishment started at 3 points and was moved up to 6 from there (which is why they started at that for Forest and then worked up from there) when the reality is that ours started at fucking 10 and then we pushed it down to 6.

Thats what is grinding me - original sanction was 10 points, brought down to 6. People on these panels are surposed to be intelligent yet they cherry pick from original hearing and then appeal.
Origianl hearing - Everton are liars so 10 points sanction (Forest commission choose to used 'Everton are liars' in there assessment, but ignore the 10 points)
Appeal hearing - Everton are not liars reduced to 6 points. (Forest commission choose to ignore the fact Everton are not liars but then adopt the 6 points).
Totally ignore the appeal findings on THE key points (i.e one of only two of items that where upheld in the appeal, so not exactely hidded),  but latch on to the concluded points deduction in the appeal.
    Its just plainly wrong.

Until a better candidate is available which won't happen whilst we're fighting relegation, in the progress of potentially changing owners etc. The obvious retort would be we should be trying and all I'll say to that is how do you know we're not?
All these calls for sacking him, I get it. But then that means you want us to be managerless going into a 3rd successive relegation battle. Not to mention continue the trend of the Moshiri reign of which to my knowledge everyone has been critical of especially his disregard for continuity which is the sole reason this club is in the state that its in.
So instead of gloating about our poor performances because"I told you so" like petualent children who seem to think that present scenarios validate their ridiculous OTT criticism over the years... Maybe, just maybe, stick with with guy who we've got, can't afford to sack, had us on a run that was Europe levels of points before injuries and points deductions, and probably have no decent candidates in our current state anyway.
I dunno, I just feel you stick with the devil you know when the alternative is a void.

but in that 11 game run there was:
1 game away to fulham - a decent enough away point. OK
2 games against Man City, 2 defeats - expect results, no shame and not bad performances. Understandable.
2 games against Spurs -  1 defeat away (expected results be we actually played well enough to win - very unlucky) and draw at home (not an total unexpected result against a top four challenging side form wise). Unlucky in both really. OK
1 game verses Villa - home draw against a top 4 side (again not that bad a results). OK
1 game away to Brighton - draw (should have won come the final whistle - but no shame in this result), annoying but OK
1 game away to Man Utd - not a game Everton ever really win. However, performace deserved better. frustrating, but OK

1 games away to Wolves - played poorly and got beat away by a tidy enough Wolves team  - disappointing performance, and Dyche said as much. Away loses happen in PL football.
1 Palace at home - should have won only got a draw (2 points lost) - confidence issue and relatievly poor performance.
1 West Ham Home - should have won (2 point lost) - confidence issue as performance did deserve a better result.
Personally, 2 points dropped against Palace and 3 points dropped against West Ham are the two results that really disappointed me in the run of 11 games.
So really only 2 or 3, that you would really say are massivley disappointing or unexpected/unacceptable results. That's the real reason why not more people are not calling for Dyche to be sacked - a pragmatic view of more than just the final result of the last 11 games.
last 11 results - 0.45 points per game (sack the manager!!!)
previouse 11 results - 2.0 points per game (give the manager a new contract as we are in next seaons CL!!)
An average of 1.11 per game so far is fair enough considering the shit going on behind the scenes and difficuties in finishing.
Based on what I have seen this season Dyche has this squad consistently performing as a middle of the table team. I would have taken that in August, so no reason at all to be sacking the man. There have be far far worst footballing crimes at this club over the past 8 years - performance and results wise.

Behind the scenes this club must be a cauldren of stress and anxiety at the moment. It is effectievly rudderless at the very top with lot of very seriouse stuff going on - 3/4 the way thought a new stadium build with massive cheques needing to be signed weekly, point deducutions and appeals going on over the whole season (the results of which could make the difference between us going down and staying up), possible new owners who everybody knows are not without there own risks (we are NOT getting a Middle East consortium with effectively endless resourses), we are effectively searching down the back of the sofa for any spare £1M at this moment in time to try and fund our new stadium and intrest payment that come with it.
This is not a great place to be a manager at the moment - anybody with a ounce sence would steer clear for the next 18months until the dust has well and truly settled. I am pretty sure if Dyche had crystal ball and had known what was likley to be the working conditions at the club when he was offered the job, he may very well have passed and waited for a more normal job to come along, one that was simply about the football on the pitch!! .
If the club paniked and got rid, who of the calibre needed would be queing up to take on the Everton manager roles and be better placed than Dyche to get us over the line in the next 11 games.
I think Dyche has been very supportive of the players who are going on the pitch week in week out. It's obviouse for all to see that players ARE missing chance after chance, he can only say some many time - they have the 'freedom to miss chances'. We all know; players included, they are going to have to start put a few more of them away at sometime. He is far from throwing players under the bus.
I and others are a long way from thinking Dyche is perfect, but he is a fairly good fit for this club at the moment. He is a manager who does not go around crying about the situation the clubs in, he rolls his sleeves up and deals with it, and he is getting players to do the same. There are plenty of things going on at this club where a managers or players could be quite easily thinking "what's the f8cking point' its a circus around this place, I'll probably be better off somewhere else come the summer!!". I don't feel this at all from Dyche and the squad.
None of us were expecting miracles this season, we all though mid table mediocrity would be plenty acceptable this season given upheaval and resources at the club, just keeping away from a third relegation battle. If we take away the point deductions, then that is pretty much where we are as a footballing side (and maybe this is what Dyche is as a manager). But at this very moment in time I am more than satisfied with mediocrity, I am very weary of trying to change things up on the management side, as another minor slip in this department would see us relegated. Premiership is a very unforgiving league and given o
A time to stick not twist.

I think Dyche is doing a good job under extremely difficult circumstances, are there any board members left at the club.
Questions about our point's appeal, about the new ground, about the ownership, about players in or out.
Only one man is in front of the camera SD and he never dodges a question.
This club is in the worst pace at the moment in its history, one man is keeping it going and fighting for us fans.
Without our points deduction we are 13th and comfortable, not been able to say that for many a year.
Give the man time, and a budget, and a proper run club, then judge him.

I think in normal circumstances Dyche might be going through a run of games where questions might start to be rasied about the team and how it's progressing results wise and playing wise under his management.
However, we are so far removed from normal circumstances as a club could be.  Dyche is working under the most unusual circumstances we could really imagine at a football club. The points you have won being taken off you based on things that went on before your arrival and then with the spectre of even more points being taken away from you hanging over you. You add to this the madness of how the ownership and board situation is at this club, the long standing Chairman passing away. All these signficant things happening off the pitch over 2/3's of a season is quite astounding really.
All this has to negatively affect the players and football management side of the club.
The biggest thing that is really going against Dyche and the wider team at the moment seems to be a bit of luck - Performance wise easily half of our defeats/draws could have quite easily have turned out as wins on a different day. I don't beleive he as lost the players or dressing room at all, in fact they all seem to be working together to try and change the results.
I imagine he would have loved to have been in the position 10 games ago to try and take on games a little more going in to them as a mid table team. However, he has had the tractor beam of the points deduction that is keeping us (and will do now for the rest of the season) pulled toward the bottom three - that in itself brings a nervouseness to the players and fans alike.
Everton are at what I feel is a very delecate tipping point at the moment -  Until the points deductions and ownership issues are sorted out, the last thing we should do is be trying to change manager again. Especailly as Dyches main downfall to me has been that he's been very unlucky this season - both on and off the pitch.
If this had been a 'normal' season, just about football - I could quite easily see this team having a two or three more wins under their belt and now being safe on between 35-40 points.
I would actually like to see Dyche manage in to next season, with hopefully points deduction behind us and a new owner and board in place - to me he has and is showing enough to suggest he deserves a normal season.

While I think Koeman should have gone about it in a different way (keep it in-house, rather than saying it in press conferences) bullying is a bit strong. He wanted Ross to work harder and show his ability more often etc, and everything he was saying was what we the fans had been saying as well.
The "bullying" didn't result in us getting less for him, Ross' decision (with his agent) to renege on the agreed deal made us get less money for him.
I wish he'd stayed here, I really do, and felt it was best for his career if he did as well but don't absolve the lad of any blame because you like him and put it all on Koeman because you didn't like him. He can make his own decisions and he could have stayed knowing that he was likely to outlast a manager, or he could have not fucked the club over to get back at Koeman even though he wouldn't have give a shit.

I believe Thelwell is also responsible for signings - more so than Dyche, so i think it is pretty unfair to criticise Dyche for transfers.

In saying that, I agree with your summary of the players. Dyche, in my opinion has not rotated enough & seems to play certain players (favourites perhaps) through bad form. Beto & Danjuma should have seen more minutes, in Beto's case in particular he will need time to adjust to the league. Chermiti is a prospect who will hopefully develop into our strating striker in a few years & the Portuguese league is fairly happy hunting ground for Thelwell.

Young on the other hand really has not shown enough at any point this season to justify a starting spot, I have no doubts if it was a young (excuse the pun) player he would have been dropped but Dyche seems to hold on to experience over performance. This would be my biggest critic of Dyche at the moment.

Spending does not ensure success - how anyone here can still think it’s a certainty after what we have done is baffling.
How - we are currently joint 12th without the deduction. That has to be our mentality right now, that we are good enough to be competitive in this league. Next season, our young players will be better - Branthwaite, Onana, Myko & Garner mainly but also Patterson & McNeil. Very good defensive record in the league. There are positives to take in to the next season, we just need it to click up front and tidy up a few technical aspects. Progression is 100% there.

Alarming the amount of time we gave the ball away especially DCl our passing has worried me all season to be honest, and im not talking about killer balls, i mean basic 10 to 30 yard balls, short, wide, behind, needs a lot pf work on.
