Frustrating performance today , unless you’re in the anti Europe brigade , but I thought Silva got it right again
Good dominant performance right up until we got into the final third, get a good striker in and all boded well for next season

I genuinely don’t think it’s an ego thing or that PeteO is being obstinate , I just don’t think the penny has dropped yet

I've nothing to be embarrassed about, you're the idiot being a man child. Is the point of this post just to get me to waste my time responding like that somehow makes you the winner?
If you must be told again its because he runs round like a headless chicken. He does the complete opposite of Barry or most professional footballers who read the play. If you need further explanation buy some footy tapes and educate yourself.

We have just beaten Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd and got a very creditable draw against The Shite
Given the fact the Gana has been instrumental in all of the above games can we now safely put to bed this notion that he can only perform against the lesser sides?

We lost against a nothing team in Newcastle, only the second time in 365 games that we've not got anything after taking in a two goal lead. Got comfortably beat by a relegated Fulham. Bullied by league one Millwall. Then there's the Leicester game on new year's, fortunately I missed this one but from what I heard it was our worst performance in years.
We've had a good spell but with a big chunk of luck given the opposition. Don't see what Gana has done in those games to get the credit. If he didn't play and Davies did we'd probably have still won them, Gana hasn't been vital in any of them.

I think you will find that The Shite also got to the final after coming through the group stages the year before, so it’s not quite the lost cause you are making it out to be
Money is not my primary motivation, winnng trophies is and you don’t get one in the league unless you are champions, but what the extra money ( we still get the money from the Premiership) does do is help us achieve a greater wage budget so we can go after better quality players whilst keeping in tolerance of FFP.
In short playing in Europe is an essential step in developing the club

If the club has a single ounce of ambition then the answer is 100% yes. With the standard of opposition you tend to get in the early qualifiers we could just treat them as preseason friendlies and utilise the kids
The Europa League brings in extra revenue, gets our name out there and attracts players, not to mention it’s a realistic way of qualifying for the Champions League
European away days are superb experiences as are European nights under the lights at Goodison , personally I can’t understand why anyone wouldn’t want that

Sorry I was meaning the group stages, point still stands though that we should be going all out to win any trophy
