duncanmckenzieismagic got a reaction from Bailey in Jack Butland
I would normally agree with you but its not often a keeper like Butland becomes available, especially at a knock down price . So I just think if there is anyway we can do this deal then we should strike while the iron is hot

    John Heitinga‏@Johnheitinga
Leroy #Fer is an athletic dynamic midfielder with great skills! He plays for the Dutch national team and will make #Everton stronger. #COYB

duncanmckenzieismagic got a reaction from Bailey in David Moyes - sign or go ?
I cant see what all the fuss is about myself

He has said he will sit down after the transfer window to discuss it and I cant see him not signing. He has intimated on more than one occasion that he sees his long term future ay Goodison so I really dont see anything to worry about

Maybe the delay until after the window is to ensure the board dont try and force him to sell any of his top players and if so good on him

I think when everybody is fit again Piennar , Osman and Mirallas will continuously swap posittons during a game, much like they did earlier in the season

duncanmckenzieismagic got a reaction from Peter H in David Moyes - sign or go ?
Im glad your in the minority,.

That attitude reminds me of the Peter Reid/Man City scenario where he had them in the top 6 but the fickle fans drove him out because they thought they ere better than they actually are and as a result the nosedived straight out of the division

I think Moyes is by far and away the best manager that we could hope for at this point in time , and I also think that a lot of our players are loyal to him. ie lose Moyse lose them

I just dont buty this Moyes is negative/too conservative idea. When we had everyone fit at the start of the season we were probably playing the best attacking football in the country, if not Europe.
Moyse has a ridiculously small squad to chose from and injuries and suspensions were always going to cause us problems ( and get the Moyse bashers crawling out from under their stones at the slightest hint of poor form)

I still think this has been a good season so far and my only gripe is the customary capitulation in the Capital One Cup, Im gutted that he felt the need to throw the towel in by playing the kids at Leeds, especially when you see Bradford City in the final

For me David Moyes has all the atributes to be a top boss, the only unproven quantity is what he would be like with money

duncanmckenzieismagic got a reaction from Matt in Apostolos Vellios
They are being loaned out on a month to month basis with the ability to recall them so its a win win situation as far as I can see, they get much needed experience of playing competitive football and we hopefully get better players back because of that experience

Unless of course Moyes has an ulterior motive and he doesnt care about Everton Football Club he is just trying to get rid of them all so that he can play "his favourites" until they are into their 50's

Did you specify this season? No I dont think you did

Ok then tactical genius you keep bleating about these kids not playing so please explain to me at whose expense

Heitinga, Distin and Jags are all better than Duffy
    Bark;ley clearly isnt ready
Piennar and Oviedo are better tahn Gueye on the left
Jelavic, Anichebe, and Felli are all better upfront than Vellios
Jelavic, Anichebe, Felli and Vellios are all better then McAlaney
Coleman, Hibbert, Neville and Jags are all better ar RB than Browning
Osman , Gibbo, Felli, Neville, Hitz are all better than Silva in the middle
Ive never seen Kenedy play but I doubt he is beteer than Piennar and Mirallas

We have a ridiculously small squad so we simply dont have the personnel to chop and change the formation every week

    My starting XI would be

    Howard
    Coleman
    Baines
    Distin
    Jags
    Piennar
    Osman
    Gibbo
    Mirallas
    Felli
    Jelavic

In a 4-5-1 formatiom, and yes no kids i there, what would you do ?
What other formations do uou want him to play? we havent got the players to go 4-3-3 and despite your commentator not telling you we quite often go 4-4-2 at some point in our games, especially if were chasing a result. The 4-5-1 system that Moyes uses is quite fluid and players are pften changing positions during the match

You seem to want to plat toungsters just because of their age irrespective of their ability

The last time I looked we were fifth in the table and had only lost 3 games all sesaon so I dont think Moyes is doing too badly myslef

Why do you have to sing to be a true supporter?

I spend my money following Everton home and away and I would say that qualifies me as a true supporter. Generally speaking if the players give the fans something to get excited about then they will respond

Thats probably why your not the manager and Moyes is, Heitinga is a liability this season and you think the obvious thinng to do is play him more

I think Jags is comfortably our best CB and I would put him in ahead of Johnny or Distin any day of the week

Yes he had a dip in form but at the time the other 2 were not exactly pulling up trees were they?

Chelsea are scoring goals for fun at the moment and we cant buy a clean sheet, so I see a 1-0 win to us!

I dont think he should be in our starting XI but I do beleive that he still has a paert to play as a squad player, especially given how small our squad is
