I was in the other thread but I don’t recall Young doing much wrong today and he prevented what looked like a potential equaliser.
Oh he played well by his standards, actually a reasonable game by most standards. But he got rinsed a few times and made a couple of weird passes.

OK Palfy. Let's assign the executive roles.
Nominal chairman of the board: Louis
CEO: Prediction game winner (new appointment each year)
COO: Prediction game runner-up (new appointment each year)
CFO: Newty
CMO: Matt
Public relations: MikeO
Head of HR: SteveO
Head of strategy: c1982
Hobnobbing with "in the knows": Hafnia
International relations: Boston Toffee
Wizened head of reason: Palfy
Executive without portfolio: Cornish Steve
Now there's a winning team
I'd have Romey as public relations and HR to save money.

Young - match saving challenge and faultless throughout.
No one else really stood out bar Gana maybe.
Oh I thought you were joking in the other thread. He was good by his standards but he was far from faultless.

Oh, I didn't make an argument at all, mate. That was sort of my point to all my fellow Evertonians here.
Wait! I've found it. Says "Young is shit". Hm .. ok ... no ...that was just an article by some old farts hating young people.
Aaaah, completely lost then. My bad

Fucking hell that was the most boring win I've ever sat through. Can someone doe MOTM please?

Well their game plan is apparently try to take us out apparently

Of course it is. Quite obvious. But what is a debate worth if noone listens to to the argumentation and if noone admits that they were wrong. It's not easy, especially on forums, to admit one was wrong.
But I'll still conclude that Young's season has been quite poor for us. And I will hold my breath till I'm right and I'll search the damn interweb untill I find an answer I like
Means your argument isn't well presented enough then. Or at least, that's how I look at it.
I agree with you for the record.

Have it your way or not. Couldn't care less cos when you can't see what I see then there's no reason to debate.
That's actually the whole basis of debate...

Matt ... get a grip, please. There are no "clean" money. Especially not in the big business. That's capatalism for you whether you like it or not. Not that I don't agree with you, but it's just so unrealistic to find "clean" big spenders.
I have quite a firm grip, thanks. I already acknowledged there's no clean money and explained why I don't like the options. I already lost a lot of love for the game with the last World Cups, I was always nervous about Moshiri... Us completely selling out to an outfit like that doesn't fit with what Everton means to me.

Any of the big industrial families in India would suit us just fine: Ambani, Birla, etc. They're really business-savvy, and they know too little about football to interfere.
India's human rights record is hardly something to ignore too

Why is it a 'no' for oil money?
The human rights stuff. Same reason I didn't want russian money

I saw something that Timmy Cahill who is very involved in football in Qatar is trying to convince some of their wealthy businessmen to buy Everton.
We need something however 777 is not the answer, clearly
I know no big money is clean money, but I don't want oil money.

If his body holds up then I'm positive he will do.
Knowing Seamus he probably asked for only a 1 year contract so that they could see how he goes.
I suppose we could give him a rolling contract so he can lead us out and announce retirement at half time for a truly bittersweet day.

It all fairness, he's done that he was brought in to do. It was never going to be pretty if we had to play him but he did occasionally contribute in a positive way. I'd still rather not need him next season.
