SimonButtle reacted to Hafnia in David Moyes thread
Woodward has put Moyes in a tough situation - but its for moyes to remedy this, to be perfectly honest I hope this fallout escalates.
The reason is I am sick of this "compliant Everton, sell their best players to the mancs when they decide they are good enough to grace old trafford"
The way it has been you will be expecting news articles satting Barkley to head to old trafford for £14m plus bebe, its just an insult to our club that we are seen as some sort of stepping stone and feeder club for that lot. I want Kenwright to come out and state he will not do business with that lot again.

Mate, they would tax fresh air in this country if they found a way, greedy cunts :shaking fist:

SimonButtle reacted to Hafnia in Fellaini & Baines joint bid
Seriously irritated by this...
First off, I have been pulled for being negative and bitter towards Moyes - because I don't really rate him as highly as anyone else and see him as being a selfish person who is out for himself. Now he is clearly behind insulting bids which would unsettle and cause two key players to lose focus from a club that paid him over £20m in wages over 11 years.
Lets be clear about this, the man deserves no plaudits, fanfare or anything like a long standing evertonian would deserve. In fact I hope he gets abuse that a turncoat would deserve. He expects others clubs to behave in a manner that his new club can't.
United need pulling in for their behaviour, seriously hope they finish outsdide the top 4.

If Moyes doesn't come out with an apology of some sort then he should be roundly booed and jeered at Goodison.

Anzi fire sale, surely means you should look in their direction. Liverpool would benefit massively from Willian, and there's a few other we should look at.
- Jucilei (cheaper of the anzi players but a very underated one)
- Lassana Diarra (remember him)
- Lucina Traore (may cost the most but would give you an incredible striking option)

A point away from home on opening day ain't too bad imo. Osman looked really out of place today, at worst id rather see Heitinga in there, Distin again looked out of sorts, Mirallas was quiet(ish) Barkley looked awesome, and Pienaar looked good in flashes. Im fairly pleased with today's performance.

Him and Ajax's Christian Eriksen are probably the two best players left in Holland. He can play behind the striker or right wing (though he's not as fast as you'd maybe like for a winger), left-footed. Would love to have him here.

SimonButtle reacted to Lowensda in 3-4 players wanted, but who are your choices?
That supposedly happens every year, only for the money to either disappear or never exist.
That's really disheartening (article).

Nah, Rodwell has always looked shite and over-rated IMO.

Most valuable and richest football clubs according to Forbes in 2013
1 - Real Madrid (fighting for league every year)
2 - Manchester United (fighting for league every year)
3 - Barcelona (fighting for league every year)
4 - Arsenal (no where near league title for a long time)
5 - B Munich (fighting for league every year)
6 - AC Milan (fighting for league ALMOST every year)
7 - Chelsea (not really there are they? Fighting for the league every now and then)
8 - Juventus (fighting for league ALMOST every year)
9 - Manchester City (fighting for league every year in recent years)
10 - Liverpool (No where near fighting for the league)
The two stand out clubs in this list are Arsenal and Liverpool in 2 very different ways. Arsenal are rich but dont spend anything. Liverpool spend shit loads but are simply crap.
Look at the past 10 or so years, who has won the prem? All winners come from this top 10. Results have very little to do with the manager, its to do with resources with just ONE exeption (Liverpool who spend shitloads but achieve nothing) Arsenal are not an exeption as they have shit loads but SPEND nothing.
Manchester United - 6 times
Arsenal - 1 time
Chelsea - 3 times
Manchester City - 1 time
Look at Man Citys results since they were bought and started to spend money:
Premier league marathon since 1992 - Man City in 10th place
Premier league marathon last 10 years - Man City in 5th place
Premier league marathon last 5 years - Man City in 2nd place
Premier league marathon last 2 years - Man City in 2nd place
Look at Everton:
Premier league marathon since 1992 - Everton in 7th place
Premier league marathon last 10 years - Everton in 7th place
Premier league marathon last 5 years - Everton in 7nd place
Premier league marathon last 2 years - Everton in 6nd place
No money, no real advancement. Great achievement though.

Just one question then Dunc. How do they learn to play with their team mates and learn the club system if they go off playing on loan for another team. Pre season is no indicator as we are constantly reminded.

They are saying for £14m, that's a no brainer for that money imo, no way are they going to pay £20+ for Fellaini

SimonButtle reacted to Peter H in Real Betis
I dont fucking care, Jelly deserved a red card, he should keep his cool. He gets paid enough to play football, least he can do is to make sure not to get sent off by kicking a spitting twat.
Yes, spitting is horrible but getting into a fight on the pitch is also very bad
