Baines has been good, so has McCarthy, Barry and Pienaar. Barkley, Coleman and Lukaku can step it up a notch or two. Lukakus first touch is often very poor. (For a prolific goal scorer) i think we will win this today. Stoke will fade and Mirallas will score. The earlier it happens the more goals we will score. He brought the ball half way up the pitch and wasn't supported! I was made up with him! Agree with Lukaku though, needs to improve his first touch if he is to develop into a class striker. At the moment, the ball keeps bouncing off him to the opposition. markjazzbassist Posted January 1, 2014 Report Share Posted January 1, 2014 i agree matt, they are playing for a draw. i actually think barkley looks good today. instead of him versus the other team, he's passing it about a lot, which is nice to see. it seems they are giving extra attention to ross and coleman, so hopefully that will leave it open for baines and mirallas.
