Sibdane
Swansea Palace Hull I would say Sunderland, but I've thought that for 3 seasons running now.

markjazzbassist
lot of votes for the current bottom 3, can't fault that since they all do look like shite and their managers aren't really inspiring either (bar maybe silva). MikeO
little past halfway, who's going down? Boro Swansea Hull I think moyes and fat sam will pull it out and stay up. You've tagged this onto the 15/16 relegation discussion Mark, got suspicious when I went back to see who I'd predicted and it was Watford, Norwich and Villa . markjazzbassist
pete0
Sunderland is a given for me Sunderland Leicester Swansea I'd bet on these being the three.

Bailey
There are so many sides still in trouble, it seems closer than normal. Sunderland and Hull would be the most likely candidates, unsure about the 3rd.
markjazzbassist
Big wins for hull and Sunderland. I can see that win helping moyes get his side back on track.
Bailey
It's definitely game on at the bottom now. They are all picking up points. Apart from Chelsea winning the league at a canter, it should be an exciting end to the season at the bottom and for the top 4 and EL places. Sibdane
Only a couple of points between relegation and safety. It will be a good battle this year.
markjazzbassist
Realistically 6 teams in the mix Sunderland Hull Palace Swansea Boro Leicester Leicester would off the most in terms of grabbing players off their squad. MikeO
At this point, in beginning to think Leicester really will go down. Has that ever happened before: champions then relegation? Just the once, Man City champs in 36/37 and relegated the next season, amazingly when they went down they scored more goals than any other team in the league (and West Brom who went down with them were only outscored by the champions, Arsenal and a certain team in blue)! Not a stat Leicester likely to duplicate. http://www.footballsite.co.uk/Statistics/LeagueTables/Season1937-38/Div11937-38.htm

I love the note that a game was abandoned due to fog and the keeper didn't realize for ten or so minutes. The other thing that's striking is that there was only an eighteen point difference between top and bottom (only two points for a win back then obviously) so the league was really competitive and nobody knew at the start of the season who was likely to win, no "big six" or whatever; last year there was a sixty-four point differential and it's probably been, without checking, similar for many years now. Would be much more interesting if teams were more evenly matched today rather than money counting for so much. Romey 1878

Boro Swansea Hull I think moyes and fat sam will pull it out and stay up. looking to be correct on fat sam, not so much on moyes. still 2 of 3 isn't bad. i think hull will stay up. i think the current bottom 3 are going down (swans, boro, sunderland)
Sibdane
This is finally the year the Sunderland will go down -- a bit like Wigan in that they've managed to overstay their welcome in the PL.
Palfy
Don't ask me. Early February I went for Leicester, Palace, and Hull, I'd still like to see Palace go down but that's more out of a dislike for Fat Sam.
markjazzbassist
Hull won with 10 men, beat watford 2-0. Swans also won but trail by 2 points. Silva should be manager of the year if they stay up.
