Gomes, such a shame we can’t rely on this version of the player we have seen from time to time.

Gomes, took a little while to find the pace of the game. Showed composure & class in that advanced role - excellent performance given the time he has been out.

Danjuma - take note, that is how you take a chance for the first team

Had to go with Gomes controlled the middle of the park. I always knew he had ability we’ve seen it in the past, but I genuinely thought having not played for so long he would struggle with the pace of this game, pleased to say he proved me wrong he was back to his masterful self and set the pace of the game for us like he’d never been out of the team.

Gomes. His passing is truly elite and offers something that no one else in our squad has: such a bummer that he can’t stay fit.

Gomes. Where did that come from!!! A long time since he's effected a game so much.

The Dyche effect or simply a player with last few months of a contract? It would be nice to think it's Dyche getting performances out of another player.

We were saying that (staying fit) about DCL until this season… maybe Dyche has managed Gomes back to full fitness and not just thrown him back in. Clean slate in my opinion - Doucoure wouldn’t be such a big miss if there’s more to come from Gomes.

Gomes, to come on and produce a performance like that deserves MOTM, hopefully it’s not a one off.
