We all had our view on him as the clubs Chairman in a rapidly changing modern era of football. I don't think any of us ever doubted that he wasn't anything other than a devoted Evertonian, and as Chairman and fan both desperately wanted to see the club be successful again.
I am sure he will get the respect he deserves from the Goodison faithful for all the time and effot he put in to the club.
RIP Bill.

Which Premier League team is under-performing most? Opta say 11th is about right for Man United, Ch… https://mol.im/a/12644779 via https://dailym.ai/android
Let's not play any real matches anymore, just let the data AI analytics work it all out!
We're in Europe next season lads!

That kick in the balls as opposed to the punch in the face is looking more appealing each day this goes on for.

I wish him a speedy recovery. Once recovered I hope he takes time to spend with his family.
no man at that age and health should be doing a part time job, let alone chairman of a football club

If he's worried about having credit with podcasters then he's as big a wet wipe as those podcasters.
I find it all a bit pathetic really. We all sit here and judge the manager and say our bit, call him useless, criticise him, act like we know better and can do a better job, some even put it all over the internet on famous podcasts, and the moment he needles back a bit some get all touchy about it.
If you're gonna throw shit out there, don't react like a little bitch when some of it is returned.

Given the preponderance of the word 'mate' in this thread, I thought I'd enlighten non-British TT members. As per the article quoted below, "mate is used as a term of endearment, but also frequently used to casually ingratiate oneself with a stranger or new acquaintance." Another meaning can be seen in "oi, watch it mate", which is a term meant neither to endear nor to ingratiate but to intimidate. Mate can also connote a sexual partner. In other words, 'mate' in Britain can mean just about anything. Which of the four meanings do Shukes and Palfy intend when calling each other mate? I wouldn't want to hazard a guess, mate.

No there doesn't seem to be any other option.
The choice of staying as we are or being bought by 777 is a bit like asking me if I want to be kicked in the balls or punched in the face.

Just a shame that we couldn’t manage that in the Luton game, we’d have been flying. Same again in the next one fellas.

Tarks - assist, goal, shots blocked! quality at both ends of the pitch.
Lots of other good performances on Saturday - We have some decent size lads on the pitch and we should look to bully teams physically - this should be the benchmark. I want teams to be dreading playing Everton - and not see us as easy pickings.
