Allison might aswell go take a bath.
He’s unlikely to touch the ball again

We need to make some subs.
Iwobi needs to come on.
Simms off.

That’s why I refuse to accept the hype Pickford generates, absolutely ridiculous.

I'd take it if he could help us to get 32% possession at this rate.

Maybe hoping Simms would score 50 tonight was optimistic. I’d take it if he can score just the 32 goals.

Amadou Onana is head and shoulders above the rest of the team, and that's not just because he's about 6'7.

Simms is starting in place of the injured DCL.
Palfy is currently orgasming

I just don't think he's ready for a managers position in a top 5 league right now. Had great success at Salzburg (which frankly every manager does because they have the most resources in the league), then flopped at Leipzig and again at Leeds.
Needs to go to the Championship or something to really cut his teeth before he's ready for another high profile job

Does anyone think Marsch isn’t that bad? I think he’s got good points to him.

I was a big proponent of Frank Lampard when his name emerged as potential manager. Once appointed, it was clear he was passionate to succeed, and he brought in a seasoned team of specialty trainers. Maybe, in the end, his approach was too analytical. I'll always be grateful, though, for his role in surviving last season. I really wanted him to succeed, and rue the fact that these days there's little patience, but I agree that Dyche does appear to be the right type of manager for now: gutsy, experienced, solid. Lampard's a good guy, and I hope he learns from his time at Everton and succeeds in the long-term.

imagine being told by sharp “never mind the money, Everton and it’s success is the most important thing, always have integrity”

Sharp can obviously get the message across to always be present. Never misses a game that fella.

This is what I was getting at.
We beat Leeds 3-0 in February last year in one of Frank's first games in charge, he was saying all the right things, everything looked rosy. Then we went and lost 6 of 7 in the league.
I'll believe it when I see it consistently.

It's not HIS anything that I'm worried about. His tactics and team selection could be masterful. We are still relying on a bunch of maddeningly inconsistent players to apply themselves. I want to believe I really do. I'm gonna ignore the LIV game but if we beat Leeds then I'll start drinking the cool aid some more!

Sure but how many times have we said that in the past after a good performance. And then we go out and look like shit for the following 4 games.
Don't get me wrong, I am loving the good vibes around the team with Dyche in charge. But we've just seen it too many times to count where it doesn't last. So until we can pull ourselves comfortably clear, I'm going to continue to closely monitor the teams around us.

Good he's been absolutely shite this season we stand more of a chance with him starting than not.

AlbanyNYToffee reacted to Hafnia in Board/Owners Related Stuff
The bottom line is we have been badly hamstrung in getting a viable striker and attacking options due to mismanagement at board level.
forget the whole “we tried and couldn’t get players in and therefore didn’t go for ayew etc”.. A well run club doesn’t rely on a January window to fix something that was broken before the previous window. We sold our top goal scorer and played 5 games without goal threats.
it’s as simple as that.

Just mowed the lawns, 12:20 pm Sunday arvo & I’m going to put the game on again.
Fuck I have missed this feeling lads. The direct correlation of Everton & my happiness is seriously concerning.

AlbanyNYToffee reacted to Aidan in Arsenal (Home) 4th February
Not sure if anyone has already posted this but now did everyone feel about us seeing the game out? I wouldn't say I expected the three points but I felt a lot more confident than in recent months watching us manage the game. We looked in much more control than we have done.
Going back to Dyche's infamous "these lads don't know how to win a game"... Today we did look like that.

Leeds asked themselves, what would Everton do?
