plaidharper reacted to duncanmckenzieismagic in Beto
I think the two are similar in terms of ability but Beto has the physicality and speed to terrify defenders

I thought the players reaction to his assist the other night was telling, everyone was congratulating him instead of Young and they all seemed genuinely delighted for him
I don’t think he is what you would call a natural footballer, his touch and decision making can let him down, he looks clumsy on the ball and he isn’t a natural goal scorer. For me he is more of an athlete than a footballer. He is big, fast and strong and works his socks off so he is still a handful for defenders and I think there is a place in the squad for a player like that
He may well develop once he has had time to settle in the Premiership but what is certain is that he is a 100% upgrade on Maupay

Hi assist for Youngs goal on Wednesday was brilliant, I thought he had run himself in to a dead end, no he created a the goal that sealed the win. You could see how much it meant to him.
We still, need to see improvement in his game from him which should come with increased game time.

Held out….. that’s the description I would put too. Literally players like Tarkowski having to take yellow cards cos we lose shape due to legginess.
harrison/young should have been pulled for Patterson and Patterson to give legs and sure up the right side…
We were lucky to get a point in the end. Shocking in game management

He got away with it at West Ham but it has bitten us today. Had to bring some fresh legs on - 2 points dropped.

Just in the last 5 mins Branthwaite has made 3 vital interventions look like child’s play.

plaidharper got a reaction from StevO in Blue Bill's shiny new stadium at the docks...
Ticket prices won't go up if we go into administration....
Need to get into the new stadium first before we worry about ticket prices, haha.

I knew he was a mad bastard, I knew he could pull off top quality saves but what I didn't know is that he had the ability to bring the dead back to life. But just a couple of words from him and the dead Kudus was straight back on his feet to fight another day.
What a man.

That touch to roll the two cbs... so good. I have rewatched that part more than the finish haha.

That’s £1.83 a week less than half a pint of Peroni I wouldn’t say that’s an excessive amount to pay to watch your football in a brand new state of the art stadium.

Only a matter of time till he is sold. For me he is already good enough to play for a top 4 side. Hopefully we can keep him long enough to the point he is worth £80m.
thats how good he can be.
