Avinalaff reacted to MikeO in The GLBT debate
Shocking. I'm amazed that an apparently educated kid could have such an outdated and intolerant view. From a sixty something Tory I'd expect it but you disappoint me hugely.

Avinalaff reacted to Zoo in The GLBT debate
We were put on this planet to reproduce, reproduction does not happen naturally between two of the same sex. Simple.
Like I've said before, this is my opinion (and those of a lot of other people) but for some reason there is a massive taboo about going against homosexuality. It's not as if I'm going round like the KKK spreading hate against gays, I just don't agree with it and wouldn't wear anything on my kit to promote/accept it if I were a footballer.

All men are created equal and should be treated as such.
This is about acceptance not promotion. If you don't have anything against it then you should at least support the idea that discrimination against them is wrong.

We were?
I thought reproduction was the reason we were still on this planet.
I don't give a shit who you bone as long as you're happy - didn't think you were so narrow minded Zoo; should have seen it coming from the Barton thread!

being gay isn't a choice, just like the colour of your skin isn't a choice. wearing the laces is no different to wearing kick racism out of football shirts... unless thats perceived as the promotion of being black?

Look, Mr and Mrs Martinez, we appreciate you want to make your lad sound good, but relax, we have it covered.

You must enjoy the realism of the game play Louis.

If we are to support the manager then we must support his decision making too.

I'd like to see him do it 'this' year.

Avinalaff reacted to Mirallas in Man of the Match at Fulham
Unfortunately that is not the habit on this forum, and since this is a discussion forum I suggest you accept it up when other people discuss. That implies I am free to question your choice to vote for what I believe was potentially the one element that distorted Everton's flow with his pointless showmanship.
And with that attitude, I'm pretty sure I'll be here longer than you will be. But don't be sad, you have your other silly looking Everton forum to always fall back on.

Martinez waited too long to make a change.
Poor.

We need to keep an eye on that Berbatov. Class act that will hurt us if we let him.

Avinalaff got a reaction from Toffee_in_LA in David Moyes thread
You talk about the lower end of the market like it's a charity shop. It's nothing to do with lower end, and everything to do with finding top players before they come to fruition.
There is no reason to stop doing that at United either. He just has the luxury of funding at United.
How has his record 'with' money been poor? He's only been at United for a handful of games and he bought Fellaini, who many valued as one of the games top midfielders. We don't know the circumstances of the sale, so can only speculate as to why it was a late purchase, and we also don't know his financial situation there. It could be that they are not as willing to spend money as we think.
Evertons players are hardly small time Haf. Nearly everybody is an International so we're hardly Accrington Stanley.

For a club like ours, you only pay that amount for a player who is going to be a first eleven signing. To have him then come on is not a divine tactical move, but a justification of purchase. If he isn't going to be a starter, why buy him?

Avinalaff reacted to Cornish Steve in Upcoming crest announcement (2014/15 onwards)
The crest looks like a knight in armour returning from the Crusades. It rather reminds me of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Will the new motto be "the knights that go nil satis nisi optimum"?
