KinL got a reaction from Palfy in What Are You Watching?
Yes Palf, harrowing though. It's on Sky Atlantic.

Surprised that Fallout hasnt, well, Bethesda'd itself and is well done so far. Even the wife is enjoying it!

I've got that to watch.
I've read the book so thought I should.

KinL reacted to Gwlad in Sean Dyche
Having saved us twice he should definitely get next season before anyone pushes the panic button. Some solid new signings and no more points deductions would mean the coaching staff can concentrate on the playing side and I would hope we would see definite improvement. Whatever he and the players have said the off field issues must have taken their toll - they certainly have on the supporters.

KinL reacted to Btay in Sean Dyche
Moshiri always wanted that “rock star” name manager. Who would have thought it would be Dyche…

KinL reacted to patto in Sean Dyche
I think some good recruitment will see us ok but we can't be wasting 30m on the likes of Beto we can't be making the same mistakes every window or we will never get out of the mess we are in.

I didn't say you had. I'm pointing out that it's a factor that also played a part in making this season harder than it needed to be. Despite that we should be sitting on 12th. 12th! Again, not good enough long term but a massive improvement on the previous 2 years despite the shit run.
No,based on the last few years, few of our remaining fixtures were "expected to win" games going on recent times. Absolutely expected to wins back in the 80s tough, just a shame we've only really got 2-3 really good players.

If you haven't watched the tv series Fargo, you're doing it wrong.
Finally got around to watching season 5 that came out late last year, and it is absolutely stunning. Every season (maybe with the exception of 4) has been a masterclass in storytelling, and I cannot recommend enough.

KinL reacted to Shukes in Youssef Chermiti
I appreciate the effort he put in and how difficult it is to play your first start alone up top.
While he didn’t do anything particular great, he went about his business in a mature way and showed a few glimpses of potential.
He looks strong. His effort when he lifted it over the keeper showed his confidence in his ability. It was offside and he got it wrong, but he used his strength to get the chance and calmness to lift the ball.
I would really like to see more of him these last few games.

KinL reacted to Harv in Youssef Chermiti
He wasn’t tearing up trees but all things considered he put in a decent performance. He is definitely worth more game time, that much was obvious. I look forward to seeing more of him.

I think the praise is largely linked to the relative pressure he was under today. He could've hidden but he didn't. Masses to improve on but, all things considered, did extremely well.

KinL reacted to Hafnia in Youssef Chermiti
I think you are underestimating how difficult it is playing lone striker feeding off scraps with Doucoure struggling to be on your wavelength.
19 year old kids don't put performances in like that. No he wasn't dcl vs Liverpool - but relevant to his experience it was superb.

KinL reacted to Hafnia in Youssef Chermiti
I don't think he's where we want him to be - but in terms of his top level exposure that was a pretty amazing performance for a lad so young.
The positions he took were great, strong in his duels, needs work on his speed but looks so well rounded. His blocked volley looked like it was going bottom corner.
brentford can keep Maupay

Worth watching back.
very very subtle and clever. One touch lay offs, won a fair few headers. For 19 in his first premier league start against a very good centre half in pinnock he did very well.

If only he'd managed to connect on McNeil's cross early in the game. What a start and confidence-booster that would have been.

I'm gutted that he'll miss the rest of the season with torn ankle ligaments.

KinL reacted to Newty82 in Home vs Brentford 27.04.2024
Phew. Another 3 and a clean sheet.
We looked much better in the 2nd half, looking for the goal. Once we got it, we took the pace out of the game.
4 wins in the last 5. With 4 clean sheets.
Christ. The fuckin club.
Anyway, safe for another year. Without the points deduction we'd be level with Brighton in 12th.
Hopefully, all the shit off the pitch can get sorted and allow us, as a club, to focus on moving forward.
