There's no way Bill would sack him. Only if we were actually relegated do I think he would even think about it. Roberto's Everton career so far has basically mirrored Moyes's - improvement in the first season but crashing back down in the second. We were nearly relegated in Moyes's second season in charge (finished 17th) and he got given another chance and that decision paid off (depending on how you look at it!). I think as Bill has seen Moyes turn it around, he wouldn't be thinking about sacking Martinez at all. He's too loyal (lazy?) for that.

Brief update; saw my consultant today and all still clear . Thought, as my initial confirmed diagnosis was 8th October last year, that I'd beaten the one year survival stats so was all ready for a party but apparently they count that from the end of treatment, so I won't be a year clear until the end of Feb .
 
Never mind, all positive. This time last year every appointment I had the news got worse, now it gets better every time! Still can't eat properly, still got no strength or stamina but minor irritations in the grand scheme of things.

Just as an FYI Neville Southall never made as first team player till he was 25... at 24 he conceded 5 goals to Liverpool and was sent to Port Vale on loan...

Goalkeeping is a very much psychological position and you need to let the mental strength allow the talent to shine through. There is no chance of that happening when you have idiots on social media destroying developing talents.

It seems to me that people are underestimating the other teams in the Europa. Of course it would be amazing to win the Europa, but we can't even win the FA Cup when we try - the class of teams in Europa is pretty high after the first rounds.
 
Benfica, Juventus, Napoli, Ajax, PSV, Valencia etc. It would be a lot harder than most people think. I would hate for us to put all our eggs all in one basket and end up with nothing.

We've smashed it with this year's kits. I was sceptical when be got the Umbro deal as I think their stuff usually looks a bit outdated. But these are really really nice!
