MikeO
http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/football/727605/EVERTON-STILL-KEEN-ON-ONUOHA.html I know from following the Lescott saga on City sites that they rate this lad quite highly....or did. Seems like not a lot of money though.
Ian C
At right-back? I know he's big, fast and strong but does he have a touch or a cross?
Romey 1878
I'd take him as a replacement for Dustbin, but signing him as a right back seems strange when we have Pip, Hibbert and Coleman to play there.
MikeO
Didn't read that far down....assumed he was primarily central (according to wiki he is...Keegan played him at right back to try to improve his passing).
EFC247
we shouldn't be wasting this money on more defenders. We have plenty of decent defenders: Baines, Hibbert, Distin, Jagielka, Neville (can play rb), Yobo, Heitinga, Coleman, Senderos (on loan but still a valid defender), (Gosling & Rodwell can both play in defence if needed) Ok so Yobo and Jags are injured, but it's only a matter of time until they return and then Moyes has a bunch of defenders to choose from. We should be saving this 4mill for donovan. Ok we might have to sell a player like vaughan but then we'd have enough. Romey 1878
always looks to heavy to me...and i didnt know he was fast..4 million maybe...also i think distin gets to much criticism he cost 5 mill its not a kings ransom. £5million is a king's ransom for a club like us though. That's not the point anyway; he gets criticism because he's just not very good.

nogs
"Tony Hibbert and John Heitinga play at right-back for Everton but Moyes is desperate to add some pace." Is this Greg Gobere the most ill-informed footy reporter ever or what? When did John heitinga last play RB for us? And what about Neville/Coleman? Think Onuoha would be a good signing but he's definitely a CB - and based on this guys total lack of knowledge, I'm guessing the story is total BS
Finn balor
Load of bollocks in my opinion but if we got shut of Yobo/Dystin and Senderos goes in the summer he would be a good signing. Young and can play in more than one position, ideal for Davey.

Romey 1878
I'd love him here but with the relationship the two clubs now have I couldn't see them doing business with us, and definitely not at such a cheap price.
Bailey
I think he is a very decent player and he is both strong and rapid, which would be the perfect partner for either Heitinga or Jags or even Duffy. If we could flog Yobo and get him as a replacement I would be very satisfied. I also quite like the young CB they have called Boyata but thats only because I say his name in an Ali G stylie... nesta2003
I'd definitly have him. City probably still owe us a few quid for the forehead so I could see this happening as well.

The Regulator
If we got enough money from Jagielka to get N'Zogbia and Onuoha I wouldn't be too disappointed to be honest.
Johnny Bryant
If we got enough money from Jagielka to get N'Zogbia and Onuoha I wouldn't be too disappointed to be honest. I wouldn't either in all fairness, Onuoha is still young and has a lot of promise about him! Can play rb and lb as well.
Steve_E
I don't think we should waste money on a centre back if Jags was to leave for Arsenal. If we don't trust Duffy and Mustafi to be 4th and 5th choice at centre back we might as well release them.
Hafnia
Man city fan in work rates him. Says defensively very very good, quick and strong, on the ball he ain't great. Ticks the box for me.
