Dalziel Kane
Reference of post # 2916 Even I don't get irritated about food products, except when they are unfairly priced. And wouldn't indulge in a kebab or anything like it. Just on the Fox issue, was aware she was a lesbian, and could well be the most upsetting case ever for it. I don't mind fucking horrors such as Sandy Toksvicks or whatever her damn is, and Claire Balding, favoring their own gender, but why did she have to go that way also. It's a damn shame. There was nothing else relevant to get upset about today, or nothing noteworthy you understand. Just some minor bouts of irritation or severe profanities, but there's been worse days for it. Trying to keep calm more often now, but it can be a goddamn struggle often enough.

Matt
Drunk drivers. Mrs Matt hit side on, thankfully she's ok. Car less so. If Im grumpy tonight, apologies in advance. marcopaulo
no apologies needed man...anyone who drink drives needs to marched down the street naked with a boulder attached(see simpsons stonecutters). it's the most stupid thing that can be done Sibdane
Dalziel Kane
Stupid is losing a substantial amount of money in Casinos, but drink drivers are a serious concern. Been witness before to people at a drinking venue after a few intoxicants getting into their vehicles, and you try to offer advice or make a suggestion, but they don't want to know or don't seem to care about the possible consequences. Not just inebriated drivers, but any thick or stupid cunts behind the wheel or in charge of a vehicle that don't adhere to the rules of the road and put people in harms way. I estimate about a good 60 per cent of road users today should have their licenses revoked and thrown in the trash. Some people just aren't safe on the goddamn roads - either to themselves or other roadusers, pedestrians etc. Hope Matthews wife wasn't shaken up too much by this incident. Dalziel Kane
couldn't agree more...there seems to have been a rise in weapons on the road...every time i go out it seems to get worse Some people on these pages would read that as stupid drivers, careless individuals or just general driving Idiots, but all I could read it as, was some people may have weapons in their vehicles, such as knives, bats, guns, or even tire irons. Or even for vehicles themselves - in that they are indeed weapons or objects of baleful menace, in the wrong hands. Can be interesting sometimes to see different use of words on these pages, albeit for a short time.
MikeO
couldn't agree more...there seems to have been a rise in weapons on the road...every time i go out it seems to get worse Always been the same Marco. "Assume everyone is an idiot" is the way to go......yesterday (coming into my village) had someone ahead of me indicating right at a mini roundabout when they were always going straight on, then they indicated left while approaching a bend. Today, road being resurfaced and 40mph limit on a dual carriageway I was in the inside lane and came up behind a works vehicle picking up signs so needed to pull out....twat in the outside lane doing 60mph plus trying to pass me so I pulled out in front of him (not much else I could do) and gave him a brake test. What I really want to do one day is to go up to the window of someone who's failed to indicate, snap off their indicator stalk, hand it to them and tell them to get the mechanic to explain to them what it's for when they get it fixed. Dalziel Kane
Should point out, it was on a game show and some kids had to use a Shovel spell (Spellcasting S-H-O-V-E-L etc), but decided to go with Spellcasting S-P-A-D-E. ?! It was bizarre to say the least, that someone could make such a fundamental error. I say 'someone', - there was three of them FFS. Only kids of about twelve or thirteen, but it's no excuse. Dalziel Kane
I'm not all up on computers either, despite working with them for a good thirty years, but in those years and until quite recently things were quite simplistic. Unlike today where it's all fucking techno babble and you need a PC encyclopedia to find your way around and things get more complicated by the year. You said three hours, I would have given up after three minutes. Just wouldn't have the damn patience for it. Check your windows for updates may be worth a try to see if anything can be assisted. rubecula

Dalziel Kane
Babbage has got a lot to answer for. In any event, there was an instance of some underage kids trying (Say trying - they actually succeeded) to purchase liquor in a store today. must have been maybe 18 or 20 at most. Store assistant just didn't ask for ID or anything, didn't bat an eye and just scanned it through without question or anything. Most stores today have a policy where you have to appear to be over 25 years of age to purchase alcohol products and these individuals didn't look anywhere near that. I didn't get too angry, albeit slightly irritated, or maybe just thought "What's the fucking use, in todays day and age" (He) May of took pity on them though. Saturday evening, go out and get drunk and enjoy your fucking 'selves etc. But companies should adhere to their policies. Even the store worker didn't appear much older than the individuals in question.

How long did you say you'd lived here ?
Dalziel Kane
Legal age is 18 to drink in bars, but you have to appear to be over 25 to purchase alcohol in stores now. Got nothing to do with any duration spent in the United Kingdom. Kids were about 18 or 20 - there was a company policy to not allow anyone, looking under 25 access to intoxicants - the kids in question looked nothing near 25 years of age - shouldn't have been served. Years ago in this country you could go into any superstore and take alcohol from the display items and pay without any hassle if you were a mature teenager, now they expect you to have fought in the fucking Boer war with Churchill or been present when Marconi sent the first radio waves in order to get your hands on some alcohol products. Only today - they turned a blind eye. And you can be sure this goes on frequently at establishments up and down the country with suspect individuals.
